Great Maple Modern American Eatery is located at the Pixar Place Hotel, which is just steps from the Disneyland Hotel and Downtown Disney. Guests from Disneyland can visit this restaurant by walking through Downtown Disney or taking the Disney Monorail for a shortcut from Tomorrowland!

The restaurant serves brunch until 2 PM each day before switching to a great American-style comfort menu. The menu features modern American comfort food with creative twists like Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Maple Bacon Doughnuts, Cajun Shrimp & Cheddar Biscuit Benedict, and Maple Pecan-Crusted Salmon.
There is also a great craft cocktail menu, making this a great restaurant for a leisurely dinner or brunch and a break from the parks. During our visit, we tried the Tropical Merm-ade, which came in this fun tiki cup and featured coconut rum, pineapple, lime, and bitters. This was a smooth tropical drink.
They also serve a great in-house lemonade!
For our appetizer, we started with a Charred Cauliflower Hummus. The presentation for all the food items at Great Maple is wonderful, and this item was no exception. The hummus was served with warm flatbread and market vegetables.
We also tried the Mac & Cheese appetizer, which was large enough to really be its own meal! The Mac & Cheese features aged white cheddar and American cheese, herb panko gratin, and guests can add bacon or shrimp for an additional charge.
Next up, we tried the Maple Pecan Crusted Salmon, which features salmon with Maple Pecan Panko Crust, Pearled Cauliflower, seasonal Vegetables, and Charred Lemon. Again, the presentation of all the dishes at this restaurant is just excellent.
We also ordered the protein bowl with salmon, which is a great customizable option on the menu. We love that this great Disneyland restaurant offers this as an option, which is also a healthy alternative to enjoy at the resort.
We finished up our experience at Great Maple with the famous powdered sugared beignets, and our server brought them in a bag and shook it in front of us before serving them on the plate. These were delicious and might even rival the beignets in the park, even if they’re not Mickey-shaped.

Great Maple Modern American Eatery is such a good restaurant option outside of the theme parks that gives guests a chance to enjoy American food with a unique twist, serving plenty of great cocktails and dessert options. This is such an easy restaurant to get reservations for, and it’s just a short walk from Disneyland. It’s worth trying, especially if you want a quiet alternative to a busy theme park restaurant.
