Jungle Cruise Reopening Date Confirmed
After being closed for over two months, the Jungle Cruise is officially returning. The attraction, which began its scheduled refurbishment on February 17, 2026, is now set to welcome guests back to Adventureland starting April 24. While this closure appears to have been for standard upkeep, it is a relief for fans who have missed the classic “back side of water” jokes.

The return date has been a moving target over the last few months. When the ride was first listed on the refurbishment calendar, the maintenance period was only expected to last five days. As we previously reported, the attraction was listed without a return date for quite some time, leading to speculation about how long the closure might last. This reopening is perfectly timed as the resort shifts gears for the summer season.
Toy Story Midway Mania Also Reopening
Over at Disney California Adventure, Pixar Pier is also about to feel a lot more complete. Toy Story Midway Mania is scheduled to reopen on April 24, 2026, matching the Jungle Cruise’s return date.
This popular target-gallery attraction has been down for a brief maintenance period since April 6. The quick turnaround is great news for families, especially with the 70th Anniversary “holographic” targets still active through August 9 and the massive anticipation building for the theatrical release of Toy Story 5 later this June.
Silly Symphony Swings Closing for Refurbishment
While we are gaining two fan favorites, another attraction is set to go into some downtime. Silly Symphony Swings at Disney California Adventure will be closing for refurbishment starting April 27, 2026.
