Disney World Water Parks Summer Season Dates
Starting Feb. 15, Blizzard Beach water park will reopen after its seasonal refurbishment. This usually means that Disney World’s other water park, Typhoon Lagoon, will close for refurbishments. The two parks typically keep this alternating closure schedule, but Disney has just announced that both water parks will be operational during summer 2026.

Typhoon Lagoon will close for its refurbishment stint on Feb. 15 and reopen on May 12. Starting then, guests will be able to visit both water parks throughout the entire summer. While we already knew the closing date for Typhoon Lagoon, we did not know its opening date until now. This is such big news for summer visitors since both water parks will be open again at the same time! It is only the second summer in a row that this has happened after Disney switched to alternating schedules during the pandemic.
Disney Water Park Seasonal Pass Dates and Perks
Can’t get enough of Disney’s water parks? Right now you can purchase Blizzard Beach’s seasonal pass for unlimited trips once the park reopens on Feb. 15 until May 9. Adult passes are $89, and passes for kids 3-9 years old are $83. Be aware, there are block out dates throughout the busy spring break season from March 28 – April 5. Along with the purchase of a pass, guests get 20% off their Polar Patios cabana rental. This is a walk-up deal, so rentals can only be made once you arrive at Blizzard Beach. Each person with a pass will also get one free round of golf before 4 p.m. at either of Disney’s miniature golf courses, Winter Summerland Miniature Golf or Fantasia Gardens and Fairways Miniature Golf. These perks last until May 9 when the seasonal pass expires.

Passes are non-transferrable and must be used by original the person the pass was purchased for. Parking is complimentary for all Disney water park guests.
