We now have another ride closure on the calendar for Golden Zephyr in Paradise Gardens Park. Golden Zephr will close on March 9 for refurbishment, and it does not yet have a reopening date on the calendar.
Many guests are surprised to learn that the Golden Zephyr is the ride with the most downtime at the Disneyland Resort (above rides like Rise of the Resistance, Indiana Jones Adventure, etc.). The Disneyland rides that experience the most downtime are directly influenced by weather conditions like rain or wind.
Some other active closures are happening at Disney California Adventure. Grizzly River Run is currently closed for its seasonal refurbishment, and the Incredicoaster is soon wrapping up its multi-week closure. There is also a short closure coming up next month for Jumpin’ Jellyfish.

Over at Disneyland Park, there is a significant number of closures on the calendar. The most notable of these is Rise of the Resistance, which still does not yet have a reopening date. This closure is unrelated to the major changes announced for the land in response to guest feedback.
There are also some dining closures happening in Galaxy’s Edge, including J1-KC at Resistance Clearing and Oga’s Cantina. “it’s a small world” just started its seasonal closure to remove the holiday overlay, and Jungle Cruise will also close for refurbishment next month.
