Bringing the Wicked characters to the Universal theme parks has been a slam dunk due to the popularity of this film and the characters of Elphaba and Glinda.
Recently, guests could only meet Elphaba and Glinda during a ticketed event but soon all guests will be able to meet them during regular theme park hours for a limited time.

Universal Studios Hollywood just announced a major summer event that will include some popular character interactions that originally made their debut during Universal Fan Fest nights. This includes the opportunity for guests to meet Elphaba and Glinda at the theme park’s existing Wicked themed photo op adjacent to the main entrance.
This character interaction is available during regular theme park hours and not a part of a ticketed event. This is exciting news for those visiting Universal Studios Hollywood this summer especially since Universal Orlando has had their own Wicked character experience since last year which you can see in the above Instagram post from Super Enthused.
Universal Mega Movie Summer will take place June 13 through August 10, 2025 at Universal Studios Hollywood and will also includes updates to one of Universal’s Jurassic World ride plus photo ops and characters from Jaws, Back to the Future, and How to Train Your Dragon.
