Will Taylor Swift Go to Disneyland if Chiefs Win the Super Bowl?

We've all heard the phrase after a big achievement, “I'm going to Disney World!” It's tradition for the team (or a member of the winning team!) to head to one of the Disney Parks after their Super Bowl win.

Since this year's Super Bowl takes place in Las Vegas this means the winning team may end up at Disneyland to celebrate.

Taylor Swift has been spotted at many Chiefs games this season as she's there to support her boyfriend Travis Kelce who plays tight end for the Chiefs. So this leads us to the next question, will Taylor Swift go to Disneyland if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl? Disney just confirmed when the parade will be held at Disneyland.

2024 Super Bowl LVIII

Super Bowl LVIII takes place at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, February 11, 2024 with the Kansas City Chiefs vs. San Francisco 49ers.

Since the Super Bowl is taking place on the west coast, it is likely that the winning team (or at least some of the players!) will head to Disneyland. Last year after the Kansas City Chief's Super Bowl win, the quarterback Patrick Mahomes went to Disneyland the next day to celebrate.

Now this is the million dollar question! Taylor Swift has attended 12 Chiefs games this season which will make her attendance at the Super Bowl number 13. (And as Swifties know, Taylor's lucky number is 13!)

It's not confirmed that Taylor will even attend the Super Bowl due to her Era's Tour resuming again on February 7th in Tokyo. However, the 17-hour time difference between Tokyo and Las Vegas is in Taylor's favor so she may be able to attend the Super Bowl if she heads right there after her last Tokyo show wraps up on February 10th.

If Taylor makes the journey to attend the Super Bowl, there is a possibility she would join Travis Kelce in Disneyland if the Chiefs win the Super Bowl. It is common for the families of the athletes to also attend the Disney Super Bowl celebrations.

Walt Disney World 2010 – Super Bowl MVP Drew Brees

But this is all a bit vague at this point. If the Chiefs win, we do not know who from the team will end up making the journey to Disneyland to celebrate. Last year, only Patrick Mahomes came so it's not a guarantee Travis Kelce would even attend. Disney refers to the post-Super Bowl attendance as a celebration of the “Super Bowl MVP.”

But not all players who head to Disney are MVPs. In 2019, Tom Brady and Gronkowski went to Walt Disney World to celebrate.

Travis Kelce is having an impressive season plus this narrative with Taylor Swift has been incredibly popular so it would make sense for him to make an appearance! Taylor Swift has been spotted at Disneyland in the past and has worked closely with Disney on past projects like the Folklore Long Pond Sessions on Disney+.

Taylor Swift's Era's Tour will resume in Melbourne, Australia on February 17th. Taylor is dedicated to her craft and she spends days in between tour dates preparing for the next leg of the tour. In the same way athletes need to recoup and practice before their next game, it's no different for the world's biggest pop star.

I personally would be surprised to see Taylor Swift attend the celebrations at Disneyland as she will likely want to head to Australia to focus on her next set of tour dates. And if we don't see her attend the Super Bowl, then the chances Taylor attending the celebrations at Disneyland are definitely a no go!

When is the Disneyland Super Bowl Parade?

disneyland super bowl parade

The Disney Super Bowl parade is usually the day after the Super Bowl. Since the Super Bowl takes place on February 11th then this would fall on Monday, February 12th. Disney just confirmed that the parade will be held at Disneyland on February 12, 2024.

This is not the best kept secret as looking ahead at the Magic Key reservation calendar reservations for ALL Magic Key types are sold out. If you are a Magic Key holder and forgot to make your reservation the best thing you can do is keep refreshing the calendar and grab any cancelled reservations that might pop up.

For regular ticket holders, the reservation calendar is wide open! This is great news if you want to grab your discount Disneyland tickets so you don't miss the Disneyland Super Bowl parade.

As for a Taylor Swift appearance, well that all depends on if the Chiefs pull off a win at this year's Super Bowl!
