The popular Savannah Bananas exhibition baseball team just spent a day at Disneyland ahead of their road games vs. the Firefighters at Angel Stadium later this week. The Firefighters visited Disneyland today as well to join in on the fun!
This high-energy “Savannah Bananas Day” included some super fun offerings, including a dance in front of the castle, a special cavalcade, and banana treats across the resort! We were at the parks for Savannah Bananas Day and got to experience all of the highlights! See our photo tour of the day below…

Savannah Bananas Day Overview
This event was extremely popular! The crowd was serious, and we talked to numerous people who said they traveled here just to see them at Disneyland and go to the games this weekend. It was a very lively day and a lot of fun! There was more excitement than Anaheim Ducks Day, and the crowds were comparable to when the Super Bowl winners were here!
You could tell the players were so happy to be there—both teams, the “Dad Bod Cheer Squad,” and the owner. Before the castle dance, they went on rides and had a blast, taking selfies with guests, and signing autographs.
Bananas Dance Number at the Castle
The day started with a special dance number in front of the castle! People were very excited about this offering and securing prime viewing for the experience. In front of the castle, the Bananas danced to the Jonas Brothers Disneyland 70th anniversary theme song, “Celebrate Happy.” Then the Firefighters came out and danced with them to “Hey Baby!” This dance number was a lot of fun!

Savannah Bananas Cavalcade
There was a special cavalcade down Main Street U.S.A. featuring Bananas players!
Walt Disney was a big influence and inspiration for the owner of the team, Jesse Cole, and you could see his excitement while parading down Main Street.
They utilized the Main Street, U.S.A. omnibus.
And they incorporated the Main Street, U.S.A. jitney car with the Banana mascot on the back. Guests were very passionate about getting good seats for this cavalcade. The popularity of the Savannah Bananas was definitely clear at Disneyland today!
Firefighters Meet the Disneyland Fire Department
The Firefighters met the Disneyland Fire Department, including Hank, the longest-standing employee at the Walt Disney Company!
Here is a moment captured of some of the Firefighters meeting Hank!
Savannah Bananas Day Foods
There were a couple of new banana-inspired items offered on this day! This was a big deal, as Disneyland doesn’t even do specialty foods for when the Super Bowl winners visit after the game.
One was a house-made banana syrup for the recently added Sno-Balls at Royal Street Veranda.
The other was the popular cookies from Harbour Galley with Whipped Banana Dip!
