Popular Disneyland Float Returning to Paint the Night Parade for First Time Since Original Run

Disneyland just shared a big set of announcements for its upcoming Disneyland 70th anniversary celebration, which kicks off soon this May! Among the highlights that Disney originally shared for the 70th anniversary is the return of the popular Paint the Night parade, which fans had been asking Disney to bring back.

Now, Disney has shared that there will be a change to the Paint the Night parade as a character float is returning for the first time since its initial run!

Original Float Returns to Paint the Night Parade

The beloved Paint the Night parade features over a million LED lights, special effects, and popular characters and stories from favorites including Monsters, Inc., Cars, Toy Story, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, and more.

Disneyland has shared that the fan-favorite Frozen float featuring Anna and Elsa in an ice castle will be returning to the parade when it comes back! This is the first time that the Frozen Fractals float has been featured since the parade's initial run.

The float was retired during the parade's run in 2018 at Disney California Adventure, replaced by a float inspired by The Incredibles, but it is now making its return at Disneyland Park when the 70th anniversary celebration kicks off.
