This is an exciting time for Downtown Disney as multiple major changes are underway, including new concepts shared for the replacement of the recently closed Tortilla Jo's and more specific opening periods announced for a few highly anticipated restaurants opening this year.
Alongside these big announcements, Disney shared that the popular candy shop Marceline's Confectionary in Downtown Disney will be temporarily closing for a reimagining. This closure has shuffled around some other Downtown Disney locations as well to allow space to work on the transformation, which will be beginning soon.

Marceline's Confectionary Reimagining
In the midst of several new and exciting additions coming to Downtown Disney, the beloved candy shop of the district will be getting a transformation of its own. Disney has shared that for Marceline's Confectionary, they are designing an “all-new, expanded and completely reimagined confection experience” featuring favorites as well as fun new offerings.
Disney did not share an exact date for when the reimagining will take place but said that work will be starting soon. When work begins, guests can still enjoy treats via Marceline's cart that will be coming to Downtown Disney offering the confectionary's popular treats like caramel apples, churro toffee, and more.
As work is underway for Marceline's Confectionary, a few other locations in Downtown Disney have been shuffled around for the time being. The Disney Dress Shop has temporarily moved to the WonderGround Gallery location, and select items from WonderGround Gallery can be found in Disney Home.
