NEW World of Color Water Scene Will Feature Moana 2 Movie

Moana 2, the sequel to the immensely popular Moana film, is soon coming to theaters starting November 27. Ahead of the film's release, there will be a special offering in the parks to celebrate it.

Disneyland has announced that there will be a new water short highlighting the movie that will be featured at the start of Disney California Adventure's World of Color nighttime spectacular. Disney shared this news alongside news of some brand-new holiday entertainment offerings coming to Disneyland soon featuring Coco and Encanto.

Moana 2 World of Color Water Short

Next week, the holidays kick off at Disneyland, bringing special holiday decor, ride overlays, special entertainment, and more. On November 15, the Disney Festival of Holidays will start at Disney California Adventure, and World of Color will be in its holiday version, “World of Color – Season of Light.” This is a super sweet and heartwarming show featuring both classic and contemporary Disney films that is a highlight of Christmas at Disneyland!

Ahead of World of Color – Season of Light, starting on November 15, a new water short highlighting the upcoming Moana 2 film will be featured. Moana 2 will take place three years later and follow Moana and Maui as they embark on an adventure after Moana receives an unexpected call from her wayfinding ancestors. Disney did not share details on the content of the water short, but we can assume it will be similar to the previous Inside Out 2 water short teasing what we can expect in the film.
