NEW Villains Teased for Disneyland’s Oogie Boogie Bash Parties This Year

Excitement is growing for the start of the Halloween season at Disneyland later this month and the launch of the after-hours Oogie Boogie Bash parties at Disney California Adventure. Oogie Boogie Bash offers a variety of fun offerings for guests including special entertainment and the opportunity to see several rare characters.

One of the highlights of Oogie Boogie Bash is the Villain Treat Trails, with iconic villains featured at each stop. These are often characters who you wouldn't normally see at the parks. Last year, Disney teased the addition of Yokai from Big Hero 6 and Judge Doom from Who Framed Roger Rabbit as two new Treat Trail villains. Now, Disney has released a new teaser video hinting at some of the villains we may see at this year's Oogie Boogie Bash! Keep reading for more details.

New Video Teases Oogie Boogie Bash Villains

In a video shared by Disneyland, we get a glimpse of several clues for who we can expect to see at this year's Oogie Boogie Bash. The caption reads, “What’s behind the cart? Let the frightfully fun guessing begin! Can you guess which two villains are joining this year’s Immersive Treat Trails at #OogieBoogieBash – A Disney Halloween Party?”

The teaser video features a Greek urn that begins to glow red and bursts into flames, suggesting that Hades, god of the Underworld and the antagonist of Disney's Hercules, will be featured as a Treat Trail villain. Then, we see a control panel, a familiar fedora popping up in the corner, and a chair with a lab coat. This clip implies that Dr. Doofenshmirtz, the evil scientist from Phineas and Ferb, will also be featured as a Treat Trail villain.

Interestingly, the caption says to guess which “two villains” will be joining Oogie Boogie Bash, but some think there seem to be three that are hinted at in the video. At the very beginning, we see wheels rolling by, leading some to believe that there may be a third villain in the mix. Comments on Disneyland's original Instagram post as well as a comment by Fresh Baked! on X imply that this may be hinting at the appearance of Dr. Finkelstein from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
