Disneyland’s 70th anniversary celebration kicked off earlier this year in May, bringing lots of special offerings to the resort, including some fun in-park experiences. One of the highlights that we mention in our ranking and review of all the 70th anniversary offerings is the scavenger hunt-style interactive offering in Disneyland Park. Disney has just shared that they have updated the collectible prize pins for this activity!
This offering is a little less popular now than it was when it first debuted, so it’s exciting to see that they are switching up the prizes so it’s a repeatable experience for guests. Keep reading for a look at what has changed!

New Key to Disneyland Pins
When the Key to Disneyland experience first debuted, this offering was hugely popular. The lock stations had massive lines, and keys were sold out on the first day of the celebration. After purchasing a key, guests will go around the park to the different lock stations in each land and put their key into the lock, which unlocks unique effects. After unlocking all nine lands, they can go to the finale lock station to unlock 1 of 9 commemorative trading pins. You can see all of the lock stations in our separate article here.

Since the offering’s debut, it has been a little less popular, and now Disney is introducing updated prizes to incentivize guests to repeat the experience. Now, you can access new gold-trimmed, glitter-filled trading pins featuring the park icons, including a new tenth design.
Here is a look at the tenth pin added to the collection. This pin is themed to the Key to Disneyland key.

Right now, Disneyland’s 70th full anniversary offerings are scaled back a bit for the seasonal celebrations, but Wondrous Journeys has temporarily returned, and Paint the Night is running for another week before the Christmas celebration kicks off. This Key to Disneyland experience, along with the MagicBand+ stations, unlocking fun keepsakes across the park, will still be available throughout the year.
