NEW Change to Ordering Process at Popular Disney California Adventure Location

The Cozy Cone Motel is one of the most fun dining locations at Disney California Adventure taken straight out of the Cars films. Due to the location's popularity, it can get quite crowded during peak times, but a new change to the ordering process may help to address this issue.

This new addition to the Cozy Cone Motel is a positive change that should help improve the flow of traffic in what is often a rather crammed space due to the restaurant's design. We order here from here often and are looking forward to seeing the impact that this change has on the location.

There is a new ordering counter at Cozy Cone Motel in Cars Land. Now, guests order here and then pick up their food at the individual cones they ordered from. This works kind of like how you order from one marketplace and pick up from another during the festivals at the park, except on a much smaller scale. The windows at each of the cones are now only for pickup (if you've placed a mobile order or ordered already at the new counter).

We expect that this will be a positive change, as the area in front of the cones gets congested very quickly as there is not a lot of space. In our experience, it has been hard to tell who is in the ordering and the pickup line because of the number of bodies crammed into one space, especially when the parks are more crowded or during peak ordering times.

The new ordering window should hopefully distribute out the crowds more evenly and help the pickup lines progress more quickly and smoothly for the different cones.
