A new Zootopia-inspired show called “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” is opening this winter at the Tree of Life Theater. This new addition is replacing the former “It's Tough to be a Bug!” show that closed permanently earlier this year, on March 17, to make way for this new experience. That show was one of the park's opening day attractions that had run for over two decades.

Disney has now shared that the new Zootopia show will open on November 7, 2025! This is happening a few weeks before Zootopia 2 comes to theaters on November 26.

Disney has now shared more details about the storyline of the new “Zootopia: Better Zoogether!” show, which will take place on Zoogether Day, “a celebration of unity amongst the diverse biomes across the city.” The event is celebrated with a variety of special performances seen from a live-streamed watch party, like ice-skating spectaculars from Tundratown, synchronized swimming from Marsh Market, tiny mouse drone shows from Little Rodentia, and a finale of Gazelle’s live concert, where she sings “Try Everything.”

The show will feature some new effects, including a new scent and “CarrotVision 3D glasses.” The show, featuring Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and more Zootopia friends, will also have new original characters. One of these new characters is Heidi Howler, “a slick-talking wolf who hosts the Zoogether Day LIVE! broadcast with excitement, energy, and quite a bit of howling.”
