Jollywood Nights is a ticketed holiday party that takes place at Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World. Similar to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, this event took place in the evening and offered exclusive holiday entertainment only available to party guests.

Jollywood Nights Returns to Walt Disney World
Jollywood Nights will return to Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World for the 2024 holiday season! This 5-hour holiday party will return with new and returning unique entertainment (no word yet on what the “new” entertainment is!) along with more than 20 unique character interactions. This year's characters will include returning favorites like Phineas and Ferb, Santa Duffy and Santa Stitch along with new additions such as Bo Peep, Lotso, Baloo, and King Louie from TaleSpin.
Jollywood Nights seeks to emphasize an atmosphere of an old classic, Hollywood Christmas experience. Last year's Jollywood Nights included two main hit entertainment options: Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!, and the Muppets live holiday special. There was also a Nightmare Before Christmas fan the sing-along among many rare character interactions and adult themed cocktail parties. This event is geared for all ages although adults may appreciate the event a bit more with the heavier emphasis on offerings like a classic jazz lounge and Latin Street Fair with a variety of holiday themed cocktails.
The event will also offer new entertainment including a “skating spectacular” set to holiday tunes on Hollywood Blvd. The show's concept artwork looks like it will be a ton of fun and in the same style as the Disney's Holidays in Hollywood Show. Disney described this new offering “Several times each evening, take in the grace and skill of international champion skaters in an awe-inspiring twist on the traditional ice show.”
Some of the initial mixed reviews of Jollywood Nights focused heavily on the long, long lines for rare character interactions. It appears Disney is already attempting to address that out of the gate by touting the availability of over 20 character experiences. The first night of Jollywood Nights in 2023 experienced a lot of growing pains but Disney moved swiftly to improve the event with many of the reviews later in the season becoming much more positive. Now that the party had a full season to grow and Disney learned what worked and what didn't, I think this year's approach will be a much better value for guests.
Still missing from this event is any use of Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge for the event. It would be so cool to see additional meet and greets back there the same way that Disneyland does for Star Wars Nites.
When Is Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios?
Jollywood Nights requires its own special event ticket for entry into Hollywood Studios. The 2024 dates are:
- November 9, 13, 16, 18, 23, 25 and 30
- December 2, 7, 11, 14, 18 and 21
The event takes places from 7:30 PM to 12:30 AM. Guests with a party ticket can enter Hollywood Studios as early as 6PM.
Jollywood Nights Ticket Sales Date
Walt Disney World hotel guests can start purchasing tickets for Jollywood Nights starting July 2, 2024 with all other guests able to purchase tickets beginning July 10, 2024.
Event tickets are $159 to $179 per ticket, plus tax. Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members can save $10 per ticket.
