Budget Tips for Disneyland: How to Get Grocery Delivery at Your Hotel

One of the best ways to save money on your trip to Disneyland is to cut back on how much food you eat in the parks. You can expect to pay higher theme park average costs for simple beverages, snacks, and meals. The more you stock up on food from a grocery store in your hotel room, the more money you can save! There are a few great options to utilize when it comes to grocery delivery at Disneyland from local stores including promo codes for first time users.

Grocery Delivery at Disneyland

Grocery delivery at Disneyland- Roger Rabbit Toon Spin

There are few grocery delivery at Disneyland options you can utilize for your Anaheim area hotel which is especially convenient if you don't plan on renting a car. Your hotel will likely have a small store inside of it but you can expect to pay high prices for simple items like milk or cereal. The best way to save money is to plan ahead!

Amazon Prime Now

For Amazon Prime members you can now get groceries delivered through Amazon Prime Now for free.

Make sure when you look for this option that you option a web browser on your phone and type in the area code of your Anaheim hotel. Since the Amazon app is usually linked to your home address, the option might not show up otherwise.

You can head to Amazon's website to read more about how Amazon Prime Now works for groceries.

Vons

This is one of the closest grocery stores near Disneyland that also offers delivery. Vons is a California based grocery chain that also offers its own generic brand of products.

The good news is that you can get this service at no cost if you're a first time customer at Vons. Just simply go to the Von's website and make an online account. All you're required to do is meet the $30 minimum order requirement and enter the Promo Code FREE at checkout.

You may want to check with your hotel before having them deliver to the front desk- some hotels will charge fees for this service and it may just be easier to meet them outside. You can also schedule this delivery in advance before you even arrive at your hotel which is a great perk.

Convenience Stores in Walking Distance of Disneyland

Grocery delivery at Disneyland- Minnie Mouse and child

Unfortunately, there aren't many options for stores within walking distance aside from pharmacies and gas stations. But if you're just looking for a few options and don't require much for your stay. These stores will have better prices than your hotel store so it's worth the walk!

CVS

This CVS is located at 1803 S Harbor Blvd on the corner of Harbor Katella. You can expect your usual run of the mill CVS options here but with a limited grocery selection.

Gas Stations

I wouldn't exactly call the gas stations near Disneyland within walking distance unless you're staying at some of the outlining hotels around the resort. You have options of 711, ARCO, and Chevron. Like most gas stations, they'll have some bare necessities to get you by.

Grocery Stores Within Driving Distance of Disneyland

 Oswald

If you are planning on renting a car or did a road trip into Disneyland then you have a much wider variety of stores within a 5 mile radius of the Disneyland Resort. You can also use Uber or the Anaheim Resort Transit to reach some of these stores since they are so close.

Target

Everyone loves Target! And this Target near Disneyland is pretty cool since it has a huge assortment of Disney clothing and souvenirs. You can find this Target at 12100 Harbor Blvd. in Garden Grove which is just a few minutes away by car.

Target also carries a variety of grocery items too so if you're looking for more affordable Disney apparel and groceries it can be a great place to stop.

Walmart

Walmart is one of your cheapest options for groceries within driving distance to Disneyland and they have two nearby locations.

  • 10912 Katella Ave.
  • 440 N. Euclid St. This store is a Supercenter with more clothing, souvenir options, household, etc.

You can also do free grocery pickup at Walmart so if you're looking for groceries at the cheapest cost possible then this is your best bet.

Vons

Vons is a California based grocery chain that also offers its own generic brand of products and offers the two closest grocery stores to Disneyland.

  • 12961 W Chapman Ave, Garden Grove, CA 92840
  • 130 W Lincoln Ave, Anaheim, CA 92805

The one on Chapman Ave is a bit more convenient as it's just two blocks south of Disneyland.

Food 4 Less

Food 4 Less is a like a Costco… without the membership. It offers lower priced groceries in a similar warehouse style that Costo does but there is no membership required. This basic grocery store is located at 1616 W. Katella Ave.

Since this store advertises itself on ‘no frills' you might not find all the same brands you usually buy from your local grocery store but you can definitely find some decently priced basics here.
