Best and Worst Foods of EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival 2025

Today was the start of the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival and we were there to try out some of the returning favorites and new foods at this year's Outdoor Kitchens.

The festival has food booths (formally called Outdoor Kitchens) scattered across EPCOT including the World Showcase. This year also introduced two brand new food booths themed to Disney Resort hotels!

Here's our quick roundup of the food items we tried including the best and worst foods we tried.

Cubanito at Florida Fresh Offers Good Flavor Combo

Florida Fresh

The Cubanito at Florida Fresh at Cubanito is described as a Cubanito with mojo-marinated pork belly, ham, swiss cheese, pickles, and stone ground mustard sauce.

I loved the crunchy outside and soft inside of the bread. The pork belly and ham were flavorful, but I wish there more of both. The pickles and stone ground mustard sauce were a great combo of tanginess and sourness. This is a great returning favorite and we're glad to see this booth stayed a part of the festival in its new location outside CommuniCore Hall!

S'mores Bar at Beach Grub Is A Bit Rich

Beach Grub review

The S'mores Bar at Beach Grub is a mix of fudge brownie, dark chocolate, toasted meringue, and smoked graham cracker. This is a new item for this year's festival and a brand new Outdoor Kitchen inspired by the Beach Club Resort.

This dessert is very rich but not overbearingly sweet. And as a chocolate lover, that says a lot coming from me. However, the smoked graham cracker mellows out some of that chocolatey richness. It's also the size of a chocolate-covered ice cream bar, making it very shareable.

Seafood Bake is a Delicious Mess

Seafood bake review

The Seafood Bake at Beach Grub is described as a dish with shrimp, mussels, clams, andouille sausage, red potatoes, corn on the cob, persillade butter, white wine broth, and grilled sourdough. This is another new item at the Beach Grub Outdoor Kitchen!

The broth for this dish is delicious. I liked how the potatoes still had a little crunch to them. This dish is also great for sharing as there were enough clams, mussels, shrimp, sausage, and potato for two people. However, like any seafood dish, it was very messy to eat since I had to open the clams and mussels by hand.

Scallop at Farmer's Feast Might be the Best

Flower Garden food

The Scallop at the Farmer's Feast in CommuniCore Hall is described as a scallop with spring pea risotto featuring Ben's Original International Grains Arborio Rice, lemon-beurre blanc, and gremolata. This is a returning favorite for the Farmer's Feast in its new location.

This is my favorite dish I've had at any Flower & Garden Festival. The scallops were very soft and the risotto was al dente. I loved the hint of citrus throughout. It was a very fresh-tasting dish I'd get again and again.

This might just be the best of all the savory items at the EPCOT International Flower and Garden Festival which is why they brought it back!
