The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays is one of EPCOT’s most popular festivals, featuring holiday kitchens from around the world. Each year, the festival offers different menu items and returning favorites, including the EPCOT Cookie Stroll.
This year, we sampled 16 items from the holiday kitchens from different areas of EPCOT, including the World Showcase, to find our favorites from this year’s festival. At Mickey Visit, we report on Disney news, including the rumors surrounding a Hallmark Disney movie and new Disney World discounts.

The EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays takes place from November 28 to December 30, 2025, and features celebrations, traditions, and food items from around the globe. This year, there are 16 official “Holiday Kitchens” (booths) at the festival, with each featuring around three food items and multiple beverage options.

This brings the total of new and returning holiday food items at EPCOT to well over 50 items. While we did not sample quite that many, we opted to try a mixture of our returning favorites and new items, including cocktails, appetizers, desserts, and cookies, to try the largest variety of items. We will also include all the cookies we tried during our mission to complete the EPCOT Cookie Stroll.
Let’s start with the food items we tried in World Celebration, World Nature, and World Discovery.
First up was a visit to CommuniCore Hall to try the menu items from the Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow. We tried the returning Salted Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie, and this is one of the most photogenic cookies on the list. The flavor of this cookie wasn’t bad, but the sugar coating on the top of the cookie was a bit overpowering. I tasted the sugar more than the salted caramel. In spite of the lackluster flavor, I still gave this cookie a 7/10 just for its photogenic nature. Check out our review of the EPCOT cookie stroll.
Next, we tried the new Prototype Cookie, which is described as a “sugar cookie with orange-cranberry icing and dark chocolate.” This cookie is ranked lowest on my list because if I didn’t read the description, I wouldn’t have known the cookie was meant to have orange-cranberry icing, because the flavor was so muted. I was not impressed with this cookie, which resulted in one of my lowest rankings of 2/10.
From there, we drifted over to The Odyssey to try the Frozen Caramel Hot Cocoa and the new Cranberry-Oatmeal Cookie. The frozen hot cocoa was delicious, but the small serving was a bit of a disappointment, even if that’s typical for EPCOT festival beverages. I give this dessert drink a 5/10. As for the cookie, this was one of my favorites at EPCOT this year and easily earns itself a ranking of 9/10.
The standout option from the booth inside The Odyssey was the Chocolate Ravioli. Our entire group was fighting to get a bite of this dessert. The flavor, combined with the unique ravioli option, easily earns it a 10/10.
Located between World Showcase and the Imagination Pavilion in World Nature is the Mele Kalikimaka Holiday Kitchen, where you can find the Coffee-Mocha Cookie. There is one caveat to this cookie: you need to enjoy the flavor of coffee! Since this is one of my favorite flavors to combine with sweets, this cookie easily earned the number one spot for me. Aside from the buttercream on top, the cookie itself was soft and melted in your mouth. I rank this a 10/10.
Also at this holiday kitchen was the Melon Breeze featuring DOLE Pineapple Juice, lime juice, melon liqueur, and Sailor Jerry Spiced Rum. This was a light and easy to drink, the juice flavor is very strong, and it’s quite a sweet drink, so this might not appeal to everyone. I rank this cocktail at 7/10.
Also located in this area is the Chestnuts & Good Cheer Holiday Kitchen Menu featuring Eggnog with a choice of liqueur. In this case, we added Skrewball Peanut Butter Whiskey. This is definitely a drink for whiskey lovers, but the balance of the strong flavor of Eggnog made this a great holiday cocktail. We rank this one a 9/10.
Our Review of World Showcase Holiday Kitchens
Now for the main event, the holiday kitchens in the World Showcase, which are all typically themed to individual countries.
We stopped first at the Shanghai holiday kitchen in China. We tried the new BBQ Char Siu Pork Fried Rice. This dish features Chinese La Chang sausage, egg, yellow onion, green onion, and sesame. The flavor was perfectly balanced and was one of the most filling dishes we tried at the festival. This earned it a ranking of 8/10. As for the returning Vegetable Spring Rolls, these are always a favorite each year, and we were glad to have them again, earning them a ranking of 9/10.
We made a quick detour to Las Posadas in Mexico to try the new Chai-mazing Margarita. This holiday margarita is an interesting combination of Chai-infused Dulce Vida Tequila Blanco, apple-ginger juice, and chai liqueur. This was an interesting take on a holiday margarita. While I enjoyed the thickness of the Chai, it was far too heavy to have more than one. This is a good “one and done” drink, if you’re curious to try a different type of margarita. I give this holiday cocktail a 7/10.
Next up was a top favorite from this year’s festival, the Bavaria holiday kitchen in Germany. A favorite, and easy to share, item from this booth was the Cheese Fondue in a bread bowl with steamed baby vegetables and marble potatoes. This is perhaps one of the best “bang for your buck” holiday kitchen items. This is always a favorite, and I rank it as a 10/10.
We also tried the Hazelnut Linzer Cookie with raspberry jam. The hazelnut flavor held true with the combination of the raspberry jam in the middle. This was another filling option and easy to share. I give this cookie a 9/10.
Next up was the Tuscany holiday kitchen in Italy. This was another favorite kitchen in our group.
This holiday kitchen provided my favorite drink of the festival, the Italian-inspired Blood Orange Margarita. This was such an easy drink, and I could have easily had this all day long, much different than the heavier chai-infused margarita from Mexico. I rank this margarita a 10/10.
Next up, more bread! We tried the Montanara, which is fried house-made pizza dough with pomodoro sauce, parmesan, and fresh basil. This is another good and filling festival option. However, without the sauce, the dough was a bit bland. You really needed a bit more sauce to balance it out. Still, this was an easy favorite, and I rank it an 8/10.
We also tried the dessert version of the pizza dough. The Pizza e Cioccolato also features house-made pizza dough, but with sugar, cinnamon, and chocolate. This dessert was oka, but it definitely pales in comparison to some of the more exciting desserts in the festival. We rank this one at a 5/10.
Overall, we did our best to sample a variety of different items across the holiday kitchens at EPCOT. If you are looking to try as much as possible, avoid the heavier items noted in our ranking, as these will easily fill you up before you can try more. The new items at this year’s festival were a bit hit or miss, with most of our favorite items we tried being familiar, returning favorites.
