The “Together We Are Magia” Celebration will take place at Disney World from September 15 to October 15, with several offerings across the resort.
The show ¡Celebración Encanto!, which recently debuted at EPCOT this summer with the opening of CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza, is a sing-along experience featuring popular songs from the soundtrack of the film, Encanto trivia, and appearances from Mirabel and Bruno. The show, which was originally set to end on September 6, will now be extended. No end date was specified in the announcement, but according to Scott Gustin on Twitter, it is expected to run through the end of 2024 into early 2025.
Visitors will also be able to enjoy Mariachi performances at EPCOT starting September 15 with Mariachi Cobre, performing for a limited time on select days and times.
There will also be special offerings honoring Hispanic and Latin American art. Disney Springs’ Art Walk will feature a new mural addition with motifs live-painted by the Miami-based artist Nicole Salgar, with work depicting her Latin roots.
At The Animation Experience at Conservation Station in Animal Kingdom, visitors can learn how to draw Dante from Coco and meet Hispanic Pixar animator Ana Ramirez.
At Art of Disney at EPCOT, there will be paintings, limited-edition prints, figurines, and more available, with Artist Spotlights highlighting work created by Hispanic or Latin American artists. Artists will include Gaston Ugarte, Ana Lacaze, and Luis Uribe.
At the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival, there will be three Latin artists and a Latin local Orlando band playing during the Eat to the Beat Concert Series: Luis Figueroa on Sept. 27, Mau Y Ricky on Sept. 28-29, Jesse & Joy on Sept. 30, and Latin Ambition on Oct. 1-3.
In addition to the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival offerings highlighting Hispanic and Latin dishes, there will also be special food offerings around the resort.
