Disneyland has just made some shifts to the booths in the esplanade between the parks and the services they provide. This change is especially notable ahead of Magic Key passes going back on sale tomorrow, which will increase demand for these ticket booths as guests come out to buy passes.
Keep reading for everything you need to know about the changes and a map of where everything is now located. At Mickey Visit, we cover the latest Disneyland news and changes like this one that could impact your trip, as well as news of ride closures like the reopening of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad and changes that came to that ride. The two ticket booths that have been used for ticket sales on the Downtown Disney side of the eplanade are now closed. This is the side that will be nearest to the upcoming Porto’s Bakery. We know that, according to the demolition permits for the project, they plan to demolish two of the four ticket booths for this new location. We are not sure at this time what Disneyland’s plans are for the other two that just closed over the long term. They are not open today. Disney just shared with us that Ticket Booth 5 will be open this week to support guests with the Magic Key sale.
The permit calls for “Demolition: 2,610 sq ft bakery/restaurant with utilities to be capped and foundation to be removed. 865 sq ft ticket booth #7 with utilities to be capped and foundation to be removed. 865 sq ft ticket booth #8 with utilities to be capped and foundation to be removed.”
Disney confirmed to us today that ticket booths 7 & 8 (on the Downtown Disney side) are now closed in preparation for this construction in the area.
Over on the west side of the Disneyland Park entrance, what was formerly the Lost and Found booth is now dedicated to multiple services. There is now one line for Lost and Found, ticket purchases/issues, and Magic Key renewals. This is important to be aware of, especially ahead of the Magic Key sale happening tomorrow.
This also has some interesting implications for those who are addressing ticket issues or trying to collect a lost item. At 11 am on a Monday, it was a full line, so we can only imagine how crazy this is going to be on a day with new passes going on sale. During past sales, Disneyland strongly encouraged people to buy their passes online. This change to the ticket booths provides a very good reason for people to buy online so as to avoid what will inevitably be a massive line.
Guests who have ticket questions can also still visit Guest Services for assistance to avoid having to wait in the Lost and Found queue seen below.
The other two booths on the east side of the esplanade are dedicated to the DAS Disability pass. The two to the north of these booths, as far as we know, are empty and have not been utilized for a while.
You can see the map of the changes and where everything is now located below.

The upcoming infrastructure project Disney previously announced, which will introduce a pedestrian bridge over Harbor Boulevard leading to a new Esplanade, could potentially lead to a full demolition of all of these structures. It is possible that these shifts are an early sign of some more major changes coming to this area of the resort in the coming years. You can see the concept art for that new Esplanade experience coming below.
