runDisney Disneyland Half-Marathon Weekend 2024: Event Guide
runDisney is returning to Disneyland in 2024 with the popular Half-Marathon running series! This Half Marathon weekend will include a 5K, 1oK, half marathon, and challenge (10K and half marathon). This will be the first time a Disneyland runDisney has taken place since 2017!
runDisney is a popular racing series of events that anyone of all fitness types can participate in. You can expect to see characters cheering you on as you run through the Disney parks. Disney PhotoPass photographers will be on hand to take your picture during the event and many guests dress up in Disney themed costumes.

Disneyland runDisney 2024 Dates
runDisney will return to the Disneyland Resort with the Half Marathon Weekend from January 11-14, 2024. The weekend will include a 5K, 1oK, half marathon, and challenge (10K and half marathon).
The Disneyland runDisney Half Marathon weekend events are now all sold out. The event sold out within hours of opening to the general public for registration.
Club runDisney Registration (for runners who have previously completed a certain amount of runDisney events to qualify for Platinum and Gold Status) begins February 7, 2023, General Registration begins February 14, 2023, and registration for the virtual event begins February 17, 2023.
The weekend will include three endurance events and a challenge. With the return of the event, the Coast to Coast running challenge will also return in 2024.

Disneyland runDisney Half Marathon
Disneyland hasn't seen the runDisney races return since 2017 so the Disneyland Half Marathon event is guaranteed to be a popular one next year, I expect registration will fill up quickly. This special half marathon event will include three endurance events, a runDisney challenge and more. If you plan on attending the Disneyland Half Marathon event, you may want to consider reviewing what Disneyland hotel you will say at during your race as you will likely see hotels fill up quickly for that weekend.
Disneyland runDisney participants will enjoy a variety of experiences with race courses through both Disneyland and California Adventure, one of a kind Disney finisher medals, themed participant shirt, and an abundance of entertainment to celebrate the return of runDisney to Disneyland. Entertainment will include characters appearances and live entertainment along the race route.

runDisney Kids Races are open to children up to age 9. Kids Races will be broken down into the following age groups:

runDisney Yoga will offer the opportunity to do yoga in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle before Disneyland opens for the day.
General Registration opens February 14, 2023, at 7:00 AM Pacific Time | 10:00 AM Eastern Time.

- Must be 10 years of age or older to participate. Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a Guest 14 years of age or older to participate.

runDisney Health & Fitness Expo
Participants in the runDisney Half Marathon event can start their weekend with the runDisney Health & Fitness Expo, which offers the chance to purchase commemorative Disney race merchandise, running gear, enjoy photo opportunities and learn more about the Celebrated Charity.
runDisney Coast to Coast Race Challenge
Guests who participate in the 2024 Disneyland Half Marathon and qualifying races at Walt Disney World in the same calendar year are eligible to earn one of two unique runDisney Coast to Coast Race Challenge medals.
Virtual Disneyland Half Marathon 
If you cannot attend the races in person, there is a virtual option to participate in the Disneyland Half Marathon.
