We are now settling into the slower time of year at Disneyland that typically comes with a higher number of ride and restaurant closures across the resort. Over the past few weeks, we’ve gotten lots of news about closures on the calendar, some of which have already started and others which are coming up very soon.
We now have the closure end date for a classic opening-day Disneyland Park ride, as well as a new closure added for a Disney California Adventure attraction. Keep reading for all of the details! Disneyland Ride Closure Updates
While Disneyland always does its best to stagger closures, there are quite a few overlaps happening right now and in the coming weeks that you should be aware of if you have a trip planned. Though much of this is happening in stretches that we categorize as low crowds in our Mickey Visit Disneyland crowd calendar, some of these will extend through busy holiday weekends.

Last week, Disneyland revealed a few new closures coming up in January and February 2026. One of these was the Jungle Cruise, which will actually reopen much sooner than originally expected. We now know that the ride will be closed from February 17, 2026, through February 21, 2026. It will reopen on February 22, 2026.
It seemed that this was planned to be a multi-week closure from an update Disneyland previously shared on the Disneyland After Dark 70 Years of Favorites page, but it’s possible that they just moved up this timeline by a couple of weeks. However, it still lists the Jungle Cruise and the Monorail as closed on March 3 and 5 on that page, so we assume it hasn’t been updated yet.
At Disneyland Park, some other current closures include the Mark Twain Riverboat and the Haunted Mansion, with upcoming closures for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, “it’s a small world,” and Sailing Ship Columbia. Oga’s Cantina and Jat Kaa’s Coolers: J1-KC at Resistance Clearing also have some short closures on the calendar.

Over at Disney California Adventure, a new refurbishment has been added to the calendar. Jumpin’ Jellyfish will be closed starting February 23, 2026, and no reopening date has been listed yet.
There are a few other temporary closures currently happening at Disney California Adventure, including Grizzly River Run, Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind, and the Incredicoaster.
