Disneyland Reveals New Restaurants and That Lululemon Store is Coming

Downtown Disney is in the midst of a larger transformation to introduce new shopping and dining experiences to the area. Most recently, the new Parkside Market opened in the district as well as the reimagined Disney Wonderful World of Sweets Shop.

We now have news that the popular lululemon brand will be coming to Downtown Disney as well as a few more new locations, including a boba tea shop! Disney also revealed a look at the interior of the new steakhouse and barbecue eatery that will be replacing Tortilla Jo's. Keep reading for details on these new Downtown Disney additions!

Downtown Disney Lululemon Store

Lululemon D-Lander store

Disney announced that a lululemon store will be coming to Downtown Disney in the area of the former ESPN Zone building. The store will offer a selection of activewear, including athletic apparel, footwear, and accessories for various activities. The store will also offer products like bags, gloves, hats, scarves, water bottles, yoga blocks, and mats.

The Disney x lululemon Collection is very popular and often sells out! We will likely see this collection moved to this new Downtown Disney location. There is a chance that we will also see some future collaborations. There is already a lululemon in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World, so this move to add a store in Downtown Disney makes sense.

New Boba Shop Coming to Downtown Disney

A brand new boba shop concept, Bopo Go!, is being planned specifically for Downtown Disney. We anticipate this will be quite popular when it arrives!

This concept, inspired by convenience stores in Asia, is by Eric Wang and Philip Wang, who are co-owners of Bopomofo Café. The new shop promises to “serve the same high-quality, authentic boba/bubble tea using only real fruits, vegetables, lactose-free milk, oat milk, cane or brown sugar and no artificial ingredients.” Their tea is sourced from farmers in Taiwan, and their matcha is ceremonial grade sourced from Japan. The shop will also offer other signature beverages, light bites, imported snacks, and candies.

The full-service steakhouse Arthur & Sons will feature “crisp lines mixed with rich wood tones” in its sophisticated interior, which will feature a bar, booth seating, table seating, and private dining. You can see the concept art for the space above.

The quick-service Pearl's Roadside BBQ will feature a hand-painted mural, and the space will have “aromas of fragrant hickory and oak.” The space is meant to “evoke the nostalgia of a vintage filling station” turned BBQ joint. The patio and Shine bar will have views of the Downtown Disney promenade. See the concept art below!

The store Nectar Life will be coming to Downtown Disney, offering a selection of beauty essentials and bakery-inspired bath treats that are handcrafted with vegan, natural, and plant-based ingredients. Some of their popular items include moisturizing whipped soaps, body scrubs, exfoliating hand wash, and gift sets. A pop-up will open this spring before the store opens later this year near Avengers Reserve.

The location will feature a custom blending bar where visitors can create a personal fragrance for products like shea body butters and fragrance roll-ons. Downtown Disney's Nectar Life will be the brand's first location with a customization bar where visitors can create their own milkshake bath soaks and whipped soap. At the shop’s Soap Mini Bar, you can self-dispense your own blend of soap minis in various shapes and scents.
