Disneyland guests with a Magic Key annual pass receive discounts and perks while visiting the parks. Earlier this year, Disney made a big improvement to how Magic Key holders visit Disneyland. Disney shared a new round of benefits exclusive to guests with a Magic Key. These perks apply to all Magic Key tiers, including Inspire, Believe, Enchant, Explore, and Imagine.
Disneyland revealed three Magic Key freebies, including the annual magnet giveaway. We break down each free item below and share how Magic Key holders can get theirs. Magnet Set
Disneyland Magic Key holders can pick up a free set of three magnets designed as “billboards” for Disney California Adventure. Disney distributed this magnet set earlier and is now giving Magic Key holders another chance if they missed the first drop.
The magnet pictured above depicts the original version of the Sun Wheel from 2001. Today that Ferris wheel is known as the Pixar Pal-A-Round and features Mickey Mouse’s head instead of a sun. Joy and Sadness from Inside Out are on the magnet, as is Incredicoaster/California Sreamin’, along with the phrase, “Fun and sun whether you’re ready or not.” The set also includes two other magnets.

The magnet set will be available at the Hyperion Theater courtyard at Disney California Adventure on September 14, 16, 18, and 19, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Magic Key holders must join a virtual queue to pick up their magnets. The virtual queue will go live in the Disneyland app each day at 12:00 PM. Guests must have a park reservation for Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure to access the virtual queue.

License Plate Frame
Disneyland Magic Key holders can get a free license plate frame featuring cute illustrations of favorite Disney characters and Disneyland ephemera. Like the magnet set described above, the license plate frame is another second-chance giveaway if Magic Key holders missed it the first time Disney distributed it.
The license plate says “Disneyland Resort” on the top and “Magic Key” on the bottom. It features illustrations of Tinker Bell, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, as well as Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Pixar Pal-A-Round wheel, an autograph book, churros, a Mad Tea Party teacup, a Mickey ice cream bar, and a DOLE Whip.
The license plate frame will be available at the Hyperion Theater courtyard at Disney California Adventure on September 21, 23, 25, and 26, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The same protocol as the magnet set applies: Magic Key holders will need to join a virtual queue to pick up the license plate frame. The virtual queue will be available in the Disneyland app starting at 12:00 PM, and guests must have a park reservation for Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure to join the virtual queue.
Annual Magnet
Each year, Disneyland sends a complimentary magnet to all Magic Key holders. This year’s magnet has been revealed as an illustrative interpretation of Grizzly Peak at Disney California Adventure. This is appropriate considering 2026 marks the 25th anniversary of Disney California Adventure, and Grizzly Peak was used often in marketing for the park upon its 2001 grand opening.

Disney will automatically send Magic Key holders their Grizzly Peak magnet in the mail. Magic Key holders do not need to sign up or do anything extra to receive the magnet.
