Disneyland Putting Two Magic Key Annual Passes Back on Sale After Price Increase

Disneyland has announced that they are going to put more of the Magic Key Annual Passes on sale. This news comes after Disneyland ticket prices were increased last week. The two passes going back on sale both increased in price, though the down payment was lowered.

At Mickey Visit, we cover the latest Disney news and provide planning resources to help with your trip. Let's get into the current Magic Key Annual Pass news.

Disneyland Magic Key Annual Passes Going On Sale Again

Disneyland has four tiers of Magic Key Annual Passes. Currently, there are two pass tiers that are not available for purchase. These are the two top tier pass types with fewer Magic Key Annual Pass Blockout Dates. The bottom two tiers, the Enchant and Imagine Keys, are available right now.

The Inspire and Believe Magic Key Annual Passes will once again be available for purchase beginning Tuesday, Nov. 4, no earlier than 9 a.m. PT, while supplies last.

Pass sales are paused throughout the year to balance attendance. In addition to achieving the right attendance mix, Disney seems to do this to create a feeling of scarcity. It reflects their “vault” strategy they used for home video releases for years and now make use of for seasonal entertainment and attractions.

Last week, we learned that Disney was going to be raising the prices for some Magic Key Annual Passes.

For a limited time, our travel partner, Get Away Today, gets to keep the old lower prices, plus our exclusive Mickey Visit discount on multi-day tickets for a limited time as part of their agreement with Disney. You can save up to $111 per ticket for travel any time next year if you purchase your tickets by next Monday, October 20, 2025See details to save on tickets here.

The two lowest-tier pass types, the Imagine and Enchant keys, will stay at the same cost. The two highest-tier pass types, the Believe and Inspire Keys, will be increasing in price.

The Believe Key will increase by $100, a 7.3% increase (with an increase of $15.84 per month on its monthly payment plan). The Inspire Key will increase in cost by $150, an 8.6% increase (with an increase of $20.00 per month on its monthly payment plan).

Magic Key Type Old Price New Price
Inspire Key $1,749 $1,899
Believe Key $1,374 $1,474
Enchant Key $974 $974
Imagine Key $599 $599

California residents can pay for a pass over 12 months with 0% APR after a new, lower $99 down payment. The lower down payment was added last week as part of the shift in Disneyland ticket prices.

Disney also just recently announced the new California-wide resident ticket offer for Spring 2026. Those who are considering purchasing a Magic Key should also look at this new discount as a way to visit the parks on days spread throughout the period. The ticket is valid for any time during the period. This may be a good substitute for a Magic Key Annual Pass for some during this period.

The Magic Key Annual Passes are going on sale ahead of the Disneyland Christmas season. Magic Key Holders get park hopper access to both theme parks. This is one of my favorite times of the year because it features “it’s a small world” Holiday, “A Christmas Fantasy Parade,” and Disney Festival of Holidays.

Magic Key Pass Holders also get additional discounts on food and merchandise. See all Disneyland Magic Key Perks here.
