The rooftop restaurant is located at The Viv Hotel, one of the fanciest hotels near Disneyland. It is one of only three non-Disney hotels in Anaheim to receive the AAA Four Diamond rating in Anaheim. A AAA Four Diamond hotel must feature updated design, premium amenities such as fine dining, and a high level of personalized service to be certified in this category.

We are always closely watching for changes at the top hotels around Disneyland. Here are the new details from The Viv about the change to their rooftop restaurant.

Top of the V officially reopened with a new Spanish culinary focus. The reimagined rooftop concept blends modern steakhouse elements with traditional Spanish flavors, marking a noticeable shift from its previous menu offerings.

The updated menu centers around premium cuts of steak alongside Spanish specialties. Highlights include Picanha steak served with its signature fat cap, a 21-day dry-aged ribeye, and Arroz negra paella made with squid ink and tender octopus. Guests will also find lighter options like a beet salad with whipped goat cheese, as well as a variety of tapas-style offerings designed for sharing.

In addition to the menu overhaul, the space itself has been redesigned with warmer finishes, updated furnishings, and more vibrant design elements intended to complement the Spanish theme. The rooftop bar continues to emphasize its panoramic views of Anaheim, including fireworks on select evenings, while introducing interactive dining touches such as smoked cocktails unveiled tableside and wine service presented in mini carafes.

The new Spanish steakhouse is led by Chef Jayro Martinez, who began his culinary career at 16 and has earned recognition throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Martinez previously opened multiple restaurants as Executive Chef and has received numerous accolades. At Top of the V, he brings a modern take on Spanish cuisine, blending premium cuts, live-fire techniques, and California produce into a rooftop dining experience rooted in tradition and elevated by innovation.

Because the hotel is not within walking distance to Disneyland, guests have traditionally relied on the ART shuttle system for transportation. However, as we recently reported, the Disneyland ART shuttle system is shutting down operations, which may impact some visitors’ plans. Rideshare services remain readily available in the area for easy transportation to and from the resort. See details on taking Uber and Lyft around Disneyland here.
