Here’s How to Access Haunted Mansion’s Virtual Queue at Disneyland

Disneyland just announced that the Haunted Mansion will be opening sooner than expected as the Haunted Mansion Holiday, and it will only be available via virtual queue when it first reopens as work continues on the outdoor queue. Alongside news of the Haunted Mansion's early reopening, Disney also released details on the times the virtual queues will be released. Starting July 29, Haunted Mansion Holiday will be accessible via a virtual queue. No standby queue or Lightning Lane option will be offered.

The official Disney page outlines the decision to only offer a virtual queue. It indicates that work is continuing on the queue mentioning that the “new stand-by queue experience hasn’t quite materialized yet. Using a virtual queue allows us to welcome back foolish mortals to this eerie estate once again, while we continue work on the surrounding area.” You can see more on the closure of this area and what is being built here.

Guests will be able to request to enter the virtual queue once a day during regular park hours. Before requesting to join the virtual queue, make sure that your Disney account is linked to the park tickets of everyone else in your group so that you can enroll them all at once.

You will be able to join the virtual queue through the Disneyland app. Be ready a few minutes before the distribution times, and select “Virtual Queues” on the home screen of the app. From there you'll follow the steps to enroll your group. If your group is called to return, you will get a notification via the app, and you can go to experience the attraction within your designated return window.

There are two times that you can request to join the virtual queue for Haunted Mansion Holiday. The first is at 7:00 am, and guests must have a reservation for Disneyland Park with a 1 Park Per Day ticket or a park reservation for Disneyland Park with a Park Hopper ticket to join this virtual queue.

The second is at 12:00 pm, and guests inside Disneyland Park or in Disney California Adventure with a Park Hopper ticket are able to join this virtual queue.
