PHOTOS: NEW Mickey and Minnie Halloween Costumes at Disneyland

The first signs of Halloween are appearing around the Disneyland Resort. While we are still a couple weeks away from the official kick off to the Disneyland Halloween season, the Disney teams have to begin early for both Halloween and Christmas to ensure that all decorations can be out in the parks before the official start of the holiday seasons.

Disneyland Halloween officially kicks off on September 2nd and the first Oogie Boogie Bash Halloween party will be held on September 6th.

During a recent trip to Disney California Adventure we captured photos of the decorations already in place for the kick off of the Halloween, or as they call it in Cars Land Haul-O-Ween.

NEW Mickey, Minnie, Chip, and Dale Costumes for Halloween

Here's a look at the new character costumes that debuted at Halloween this year. We were at Disneyland for the first day of Halloween to capture these photos and share.

Look how cute this is! The costumes are supposed to appear homemade for Halloween.

So much fun to see them all out in new atire.

Disneyland Halloween in Cars Land

Signage and decorations are already up in various parts of the land. I really appreciate the set of Halloween decorations in Disney California Adventure. Ever since the move of the Disneyland Halloween party to Disney California Adventure the parks team has really stepped up their work decorating the park. Cars Land is one of my favorite places during Halloween!

Already throughout the land we noticed orange touches. These small details all come together to make the overall land decorations really pop.

Flo's V8 Cafe has nice place making details for the holiday already.

The car outside of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree is all set with mummy wrapping.

In the Mater's Junkyard Jamboree area we also found some other spooky details.

Of course the most visible decorations in the land are conversions of the cones into Jack-O-Lanterns.

Halloween in the Rest of Disney California Adventure

Pumpkins and other Halloween details are already starting to pop up throughout the rest of the park.

We'll see more pumpkins like these in the coming weeks!

We also saw teams hard at work preparing for the Villain's Grove that is one of our favorite parts of the Oogie Boogie Bash party.

Halloween at Disneyland is one of my favorite times of year at the parks. The extra layer of decorations just adds to the magic.
