This will be the largest gathering of Disney Princess talent “ever assembled” and will feature the voices from both live-action and animated classics. The Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration will take place at Paradise Garden Park, where guests usually stand to watch World of Color. The concert description adds that this spectacular will “transform the night skies with dazzling lights, sweeping projections, and sky-high fountains.” The concert will have two showtimes, at 8:30 PM and 9:45 PM.
Specific performers for Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration have not been announced. However, Disney has shared that the following Disney Princess talent will appear at D23:
- Jodi Benson, the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid
- Paige O’Hara, the voice of Belle in Beauty and the Beast
- Susan Egan, the original Belle in Beauty and the Beast on Broadway

The concert is a part of D23 Day, which is a one-day event with entertainment, free giveaways, special merchandise, and celebrity appearances. There are also going to be free Mickey ear hats handed out that morning to guests. D23 Day is the kickoff event for the D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, which will be hosted at the nearby Anaheim Convention Center from August 14 to 16.

A free virtual queue reservation will be required to attend Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration. Guests can join the virtual queue on August 13 at noon after entering Disney California Adventure or Disneyland Park. If joining the virtual queue from Disneyland Park, guests must have a ticket with park hopping privileges, since the concert is in Disney California Adventure.
But guests without a park ticket have the chance to attend for free! Disney just posted a casting notice for the event on 1iota. 1iota is a free audience ticketing platform that provides tickets for people to attend live entertainment events, including TV show tapings, award shows, concerts, and special experiences. The platform allows producers to manage crowd logistics and manage audience capacity.
Guests who attend with 1iota should be prepared to function like extras and staged in shots while they are capturing the show. We expect that those who attend with 1iota will be the closest to the stage.
Disney is filming the event, and the concert will air on The Wonderful World of Disney on ABC on August 16, so it’s not that unexpected to see it advertised on 1iota. Those interested can enter the “super fan casting” on their website. You must be available from 6:00 PM – 11:30 PM on August 13 to participate.

Those who attended the 2024 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event might remember a similar Disney Princess concert that combined performances from the live-action and animated films plus Disney on Broadway talent.
