Disneyland Crowds Will Likely Be Impacted By Two Popular Special Events On This Day

We are just approaching the end of the busy Spring Break period at Disneyland, with crowds expected to start dying down towards the end of the month. However, there is one day coming up when Disneyland Park in particular will likely be impacted by two unofficial events that are occurring on the same day.

While Disneyland holds several official events throughout the year that usually span several months, some groups will organize unofficial, day outings to the park that often have a large turnout of participants. Disneyland Crowds Impact Two Unofficial Events

One of the best parts of visiting Disneyland in the Spring is the number of events that take place during this time of the year, from official Disneyland events and after-hours parties to unofficial events coordinated by fans, like Dapper Day, which recently took place, and these two special outings coming up on the same day. On Sunday, April 27, two special events will be taking place at Disneyland Park—TikiLand Day and Bats Day. Both of these events happening on the same day will impact crowds—this may not necessarily affect ride wait times dramatically, but you will definitely feel the presence of these two groups in certain spots around the park on this day, especially during the scheduled group photos.

TikiLand Day, according to the TikiLand Day Instagram, will be a “day of tiki fun, tiki fashion, tiki art and escapism.” The event will take place from 9 am – 4 pm, and there will be a schedule of events that participants will follow.

As you can see in the post below, the turnout last year was pretty huge! We expect this will have an interesting impact on Adventureland in particular, as Indiana Jones Adventure will have just reopened from its extended refurbishment a couple of days before, so there will be more traffic in this area. The full TikiLand Day schedule has not yet been released, but during the time that certain activities are taking place, you may want to steer clear of these areas due to crowds. Adventureland is a pretty small land, so you’ll definitely feel the presence of this group as they go through their various activities.

Bats Day/Goth Day at Disneyland will also have an outing to the park on the same day! This is an event for members of various dark subculture genres to meet up and enjoy a day of fun at Disneyland. There will be a schedule of events for the day (mostly photo ops at different locations), which you can see from the batsday Instagram below.
