New LOOK at Addition to Disneyland Christmas Favorite Revealed

The return of the Disney Festival of Holidays is coming soon to Disney California Adventure next month on November 10th, along with Disney ¡Viva Navidad!, a celebration of holiday traditions featuring cultural performers, music, and Disney characters.

The street party features authentic folklórico dancers, mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers, drummers, and 12-foot-tall mojiganga puppets of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Disney ¡Viva Navidad! includes floats, bikers, and favorite Disney characters including Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and the Three Caballeros. In addition to the ¡Viva Navidad! street parties, the area also has character meet and greets, special foods, and additional live entertainment by a lineup of musical groups.

Disney Parks just announced that there will be a new Disney ¡Viva Navidad! addition to the upcoming celebration this year, which we will share more about below! This is one of our favorite shows so we wanted to specifically cover the news with its own article.

NEW Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Addition This Year

One of the most impressive aspects of the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party is the detail in each performer's authentic outfit. We love the authenticity of the entire show and the way that the show honors specific individual cultures. Disney has revealed that Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and the Three Caballeros (Donald Duck, Panchito, and Jose) will be wearing new outfits for Disney ¡Viva Navidad! this year at Disneyland. This is the first time that we can remember seeing new costumes for the characters since the show debuted.
