Disneyland New “Key to Disneyland” Experience

Key to Disneyland is a new interactive experience created for the 70th Celebration where guests can “unlock the magic” in each of Disneyland's nine lands using a special key guests can purchase. Once a guest unlocked all nine lands, the key will reveal 1 of 9 hidden commemorative keepsakes inside. The key will save your progress and allow you to unlock lands during the duration of the celebration so if you plan on visiting more than once, you can spread it out during your visits.

Guests can purchase their Key to Disneyland starting on May 16, 2025 when the Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration begins. After guests unlock all nine stations then they should look for the Mickey Topiary Finale lock station by the entrance to Disneyland near the Newsstand and tunnel. This is where the key will unlock 1 of the 9 commemorative trading pins.

Here is where you can find all nine of the Lock Station Locations:

  • Disneyland Fire Station on Main Street, U.S.A.
  • Aladdin’s Lamp inside Adventureland Bazaar in Adventureland
  • In New Orleans Square
  • Outside of Pooh Corner in Bayou Country
  • Across from Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge
  • Wilderness Expeditions and Delivery Service Wagon (near the entrance to Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge) in Frontierland
  • Across from Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin in Mickey’s Toontown
  • Fantasy Faire in Fantasyland
  • Near the exit of Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters in Tomorrowland

Pricing for the “Key to Disneyland” has not been released yet. Typical scavenger hunts we've seen in the past, which just included a paper map, usually cost under $20 but I expect this cost to be higher since the key itself is a merchandise item.

The Vault Collection will celebrate the early eras of the Disneyland Resort starting first with the Replica Chapter and Mickey Mouse & Maps Chapter. Retro merchandise is always popular with Disney adults, I'm excited to see everything this collection brings.
