A late-night special event has become a staple of the Walt Disney World calendar in recent years. Disney After Hours take place once the park closes for the day to the general public and only sell a limited quantity of tickets, keeping lines for popular rides shorter than they are during the daytime. The event will return in 2027, and Disney just shared details. This follows 2027 date announcements for EPCOT festivals.
Disney World revealed all dates and park selections for Disney After Hours 2027. We have the full list of dates and information on purchasing tickets, which are priced higher this year. Mickey Visit brings you the latest Disney news and planning resources, including 11 Disney restaurants opening in the next year and a tour inside Disney World’s newest major attraction.

Disney After Hours at Walt Disney World

For guests interested in treating themselves to a splurge, Disney After Hours offer a nice alternative to waking up early to beat crowds and having to navigate the ins and outs of Lightning Lanes. Lightning Lanes aren’t open during Disney After Hours, nor would they be necessary for most attractions.
Disney After Hours will return in 2027 at Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. There are no Disney After Hours scheduled in 2027 at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
Disney After Hours is different from Extended Evening Theme Park Hours. Whereas Disney After Hours is a ticketed event, Extended Evening Theme Park Hours is a 2-hour period of extra park time, complimentary, but exclusive to guests staying at Disney World’s deluxe hotels.
Guests staying at Disney World hotels can purchase Disney After Hours tickets as of September 10, 2026. Other guests can purchase tickets starting September 22, 2026.
In a change for 2027, the After Hours season concludes in August rather than continuing into September. In total, 2027 will offer 56 nights of After Hours across the three parks, compared with 2026’s 62. Prices are slightly higher, which we detail for each park below.

Disney After Hours 2027 Dates for Magic Kingdom
In 2027, Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom will take place from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM on event nights. Guests without daytime admission can enter Magic Kingdom with just their party ticket starting at 7:00 PM.
2027 prices for Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom range from $189 to $209. This is an increase from 2026’s price range of $175 to $199.
There are no discounts for Disney World annual passholders or Disney Vacation Club members to Magic Kingdom’s Disney After Hours.
In a big change for Magic Kingdom’s After Hours in 2027, Disney removed the listing for the Disney Enchantment fireworks spectacular from the event’s landing page on the Disney World website. This fireworks show originally debuted in 2021 for all park guests nightly, then transitioned to being performed only during Disney After Hours exclusively for party attendees. It seems the show may not perform during 2027’s event. Attendees would still be able to see Happily Ever After, Magic Kingdom’s current nightly fireworks show, during regular hours before the park closes to non-party guests.
