Each year after the Super Bowl, it is a tradition for the MVP of the winning team to say that they are going to Disneyland or Disney World and make an appearance as part of a celebratory parade the next day.
Last year, the Super Bowl parade was held at Disneyland featuring MVP Patrick Mahomes after the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII. Patrick Mahomes said the iconic line “I'm going to Disneyland!” and appeared in a cavalcade along the parade route on Monday afternoon.
This year, Super Bowl LIX will be held in New Orleans, and the winning MVP player will be headed to visit Disney World the day afterward. In this year's game, the Kansas City Chiefs face off with the Philidelphia Eagles. We will share everything you need to know about the 2025 Super Bowl parade at Disney World! Updated with new information after the Super Bowl including that Jalen Hurts will likely be the one to appear in the parade.

Updated 11:40 pm ET – The Philadelphia Eagles have won the Super Bowl. The team's quarterback, Jalen Hurts, has been named Super Bowl MVP. Disney has now confirmed that Jalen Hurts is headed to Disney World tomorrow.
Disney shared this quote about the appearance “Now, the celebration is heading to The Most Magical Place On Earth: Walt Disney World Resort. Get ready, because Hurts is about to be the star of a fantastic day filled with thrilling attractions, spectacular entertainment, and magical moments with our popular Disney characters. And it all leads up to a festive parade down Main Street, U.S.A. at Magic Kingdom, complete with colorful floats and thousands of cheering fans and guests!”
The parade will take place at Magic Kingdom Park at 2:30 p.m. ET on Monday, February 10.
More on what you can expect from the parade and Super Bowl experience at Magic Kingdom park below.
Each year after the game, there is a famous commercial where the MVP of the winning team looks into the camera and says that they're going to Disneyland or Disney World, then typically makes an appearance in the park closest to where the game is held the next day. You can see the origin story and history behind this iconic phrase here.
The Super Bowl parade has not taken place at Magic Kingdom since 2020, as the last parade that was planned for Magic Kingdom was canceled in 2021 due to the pandemic, so it has been a few years since it has happened at this park. The last few years of the Super Bowl parade have been at Disneyland in California.
This year after the day of the game, the Super Bowl parade will take place at Disney World on Monday, February 10, 2025. Disney World has now confirmed through its Instagram story that the parade will occur on this day. There will typically be a short processional on the parade route of Magic Kindom featuring the MVP on a parade float with Disney characters including Mickey and Minnie along with other parade performers surrounding the float.
Disney does not announce exact details of the Super Bowl parade ahead of the game, but you can typically expect the Super Bowl parade to take place in the afternoon on Monday. We know that the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade currently has two showtimes scheduled that day for 12:00 PM and 3:00 PM, so we can likely expect the parade to take place sometime in the early afternoon between these, likely around 1:30 PM.
We expect that Disney Parks Blog and the Disney World Instagram page will confirm the time of the Super Bowl parade on Sunday after the game is over. We will update this article with details as soon as they are announced.
When writing about the Super Bowl parade last year at Disneyland, we mentioned how we recommend staking out a spot on Main Street far in advance for the best viewing and several hours in advance if you want Main Street U.S.A. viewing. One difference to note this year is that Magic Kingdom has a much larger parade route than Disneyland, so that will make a difference in terms of ease of seeing the parade.
This is a popular time for people to visit regardless of whether they are locals or tourists, but there are generally fewer locals at Disney World who closely follow the teams than there are at Disneyland. We anticipate that there will be crowds drawn to the parade for those who are already in the parks, and some locals will also come to see it as well.
Unlike at Disneyland, is it easier to avoid the crowds at Disney World due to the park's size. If you're planning a visit on this day and are not interested in the parade, just steer clear of the park for the first part of the day leading up to the parade and it should not have a huge impact on your day.
