Banana Ball Coming Soon to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex

Banana Ball will come to Walt Disney World for the first time in 2026, with games scheduled for May 29 and 30 at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex. The games will feature two teams in the league, the Loco Beach Coconuts and the Party Animals, as they compete in the Banana Ball Championship League. While the Savannah Bananas created Banana Ball, they aren’t slated to play at the Disney World event. The Loco Beach Coconuts are the league’s newest team.

The games will take place inside The Stadium, which features more than 9,500 seats and four luxury sky boxes and open-air suites. The Stadium is like a smaller version of a large baseball stadium, but it still feels large when you step out onto the diamond! The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex is a fun and underrated area of Disney World. It’s worth a visit if you are a sports fan, and especially exciting if you can attend the Banana Ball games.

Banana Ball is a fast-paced, entertainment-style version of baseball created by the Savannah Bananas, a team known for turning the sport into a lively show. Banana Ball takes the spirit of baseball with some rule changes to make the games more exciting and interactive.

This news was announced tonight live on ESPN2, ESPN+, Disney+, and the Banana Ball YouTube channel, during the Banana Ball City Selection Show.

Recently, the Savannah Bananas have been selling out Major League Baseball stadiums. Some recent performances have welcomed 40,000 to 60,000 people. For this reason, it doesn’t surprise me that they will not be playing the smaller Walt Disney World ESPN complex. Hosting this version of Banana Ball is an awesome way to bring some of that fun to Walt Disney World.

How to Get Tickets to Banana Ball at Disney World

Due to popular demand, tickets to the Banana Ball games will go through a lottery system. Fans can join the ticket lottery list through November 1, 2025, on BananaBall.com, for a chance to buy tickets starting at $35.

Earlier this year, the Savannah Bananas came to Disneyland, and Disney celebrated with a “Savannah Bananas Day” that included some super fun offerings, including a dance in front of the castle, a special cavalcade, and banana treats! This event was popular with guests, and it really makes sense to continue to bring this style of sports entertainment to Disney.
