Once the 2026 schedule of panels was released, Disney collectors instantly noticed that one panel is featuring an auction from Disney Experiences that will allow guests the chance to purchase incredibly rare items from the theme parks, including pieces from the now-retired Muppet*Vision 3D attraction and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad ride vehicles. While these items are extremely cool and would be a dream to own, most of their prices will be out of reach for the average fan and likely be bought up by Disney adult celebrities.

However, these won’t be the only items up for grabs, and we just found out more items are being released for set prices that are affordable for the average Disney fan. The Disney Experiences Auction – Rare and Remarkable Finds at D23 will also include a shopping experience that includes themed items found within Disney Parks, Resorts, and ships. And this includes items from popular themed resort hotel rooms like the old Royal Guest Rooms (pictured above) at Disney’s Port Orleans- Riverside.

There will be a selection of different items available each day of D23 that can be accessed via virtual queue throughout the event, with a standby queue option opening after all boarding groups have been redeemed. Let’s get into all the items that are being sold during this unique shopping event.

First up are these framed prints from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. The first print pays homage to Ron Dominguez, whose family originally owned and lived on 10 acres of the orange grove-covered property that was purchased by Walt Disney in 1954.

The second print pays homage to Walt Disney, as Retlaw is Walter spelled backwards. Both prints cost $79. These were displayed in the guest rooms.

Fans can purchase a centerpiece from Animator’s Palate from Disney Cruise Line for $150. These centerpieces act as table numbers assigned to the staterooms on the cruises. Animator’s Palate is one of Disney Cruise Line’s signature rotational dining restaurants known for its unique animation-themed experience.

Also available are the “Bug-Eye” 3D glasses from It’s Tough to Be a Bug!, the long-running Disney California Adventure attraction, for $49.99. The attraction welcomed guests for more than a decade before Bugs Land permanently closed in 2018 to make way for Avengers Campus.

Another fun part of recent theme park history is this Disney 100 Lamp Post Medallion for $399, which includes a certificate of verification. The Disney 100 Lamp Post Medallion is from the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the company, which ran from 2023 to 2024 at the Disneyland Resort. These medallions hung on the lamp posts around the resort as part of the celebration’s theme park decor.

This print from Disney’s Fort Wilderness Cabins features the Fort Wilderness Railroad, a steam-powered train that transported guests around the campground from 1974 until its closure in 1980 for $149. The artwork originally decorated the cabins before Disney replaced them with the new Disney Vacation Club Cabins at Fort Wilderness during the resort’s major refurbishment.

On Saturday, the following items will be available for purchase.

There will be another two prints for purchase for $79 from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa that include a print that is designed to look like a vintage California crate label. Silver Lake Brand Citrus actually references the Silver Lake neighborhood in Los Angeles, where Walt Disney’s Hyperion Studio was located from 1926 to 1939.

Also included is a Disney 100 Lamp Post Shield that will retail for $399 and include a certificate of verification. This is another item from the Disney 100th Celebration at Disneyland Resort.

Two more prints from Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa will be available for $79 on Sunday. The Rainbow Ridge Ranch is an Easter egg for the fictional mining town, Rainbow Ridge, which serves as the setting of Disneyland’s Big Thunder Mountain Railroad.

The second print, Hyperion Fruit, uses the word Hyperion, which is used by Disney in several contexts since Hyperion refers to Disney’s original studio on Hyperion Avenue. The studio was home to Walt Disney Productions from 1926 to 1939, where many of Disney’s earliest animated classics, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, were created.

We also have another item from the Royal Guest Rooms for $99 with this Princess Jasmine Portrait.

These items will all be extremely popular and in high demand. Disney is planning on using a virtual queue to manage crowds. It’s hard to say how many quantities of these items Disney has before they sell out each day. But items are limited to 1 per guest, and the Disney Experiences Auction pin is limited to 5 per guest.

Guests attending D23 can sign up for a boarding group with virtual queue and wait until their boarding group is called to come shop. Starting 6 a.m. PT and at 1 p.m. PT each day of the event, fans within a 90-mile radius of the Anaheim Convention Center can use the Disney D23 app and the Disneyland Resort app to enter a virtual queue. To provide all fans with an equal opportunity to shop, fans may join in a group of up to two (2) people, one queue at a time, subject to availability. Virtual queue is limited in capacity and may book out. Standby queue options may open throughout the weekend after all boarding groups have been redeemed.

According to the fine print, these items are used and sold as-is. Items were manufactured as props and were not manufactured as consumer products. Each item has unique wear or color variations. Items are pre-wrapped and cannot be opened until purchased. No refunds or discounts will apply.
