Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa just reopened from a nearly yearlong refurbishment. Many changes arrived as expected, including a new menu and extensive interior renovations for the Disneyland Resort‘s fanciest restaurant.
However, there was one component of Napa Rose we expected to return to business as usual when the restaurant reopened, and didn’t, at least not yet: Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures. Disney Princess Character Breakfast Still in Flux
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is a premium character meal offered at the Grand Californian Hotel & Spa’s Napa Rose restaurant. For a price tag starting at $149, diners experience a three-course meal inside, followed by a storytelling experience with a Disney Princess on an outdoor patio. Kids also receive an autograph book, pen, and goodie bag with their choice of a crown or a sword. Adults receive specialty chocolate as a memento.
When Napa Rose closed for refurbishment in April 2025, Disney relocated Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures into the Trillium Room & Terrace. This is a ballroom located in the same hotel as Napa Rose, Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa.

With Napa Rose’s reopening on February 6, 2026, many expected Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures to return to its original space. However, Disney says the character meal will continue in the Trillium Room for the time being.
Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures will eventually make its way back to Napa Rose, but Disney has not announced when.

It’s likely that if guests have reservations for Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures, they will not need to take any action when Disney relocates the meal from the Trillium Room back to Napa Rose. We assume the reservation will simply transfer over. Disney Princess Breakfast Adventures is unique among Disneyland Resort’s character dining in that Disney is selling more of an experience, and that experience can be flexible with its location.
We are guessing that the reason for the delay is that they are still getting the space ready for this experience after its big reopening. The restaurant officially reopens its doors today with some new enhancements.
The renovated space draws inspiration from the Northern Californian Arts and Crafts tradition, featuring details that pay homage to the colors and textures of the Napa Valley region. They have added expanded exhibition counters, where guests can watch the culinary team at work, and an enhanced outdoor patio for al fresco dining.
