No one does kids entertainment better than Disney and they really showcase this on the Disney Cruise Line. Each Disney Cruise Line ship has youth clubs for all age groups from infants to teens.
Disney uses their out of this world customer service and entertainment knowledge to create authentic and fun experiences for kids onboard these cruises. These aren't just a run of the mill summer camp experience, the clubs themselves are designed with the same attention to detail you see in the Disney Parks!
I was invited by Disney to see these youth clubs up close and I was blown away by the themes and activities kids can experience on the Disney Wish.

You Won't See Your Kids Again Once They Find the Youth Clubs!
While it sounds like a joke, I'm not even really sure it is one! Once your kids find the Disney youth clubs, they have so much fun that you might have a hard time getting them to leave and hang out with you again.
As parents, we all joked about how we haven't seen our kids at all on the cruise because they are having so much fun. And all of us had kids in different age groups whether it was elementary ages, tweens, or teens.
This has consistently been my son's experience on every Disney Cruise and he's been on three so far. I have had to practically beg him to come join us for dinner and the evening show because he's having so much fun!
Kids Enter the Oceaneer's Club Via Slide
The club with the most impressive design was easily the Oceaneer's Club which even has an entrance via slide from the Grand Hall on the Disney Wish.
I mean, it doesn't get any cooler than that…! But it's not just the slide that's so impressive, the Oceaneer's Club includes a dedicated Star Wars, Marvel, and Disney Princess area for kids to enjoy.
There are clubs for every age group with the Oceaneer's Club being the most popular, in terms of the age group that are utilizing it, which is ages 3 to 10 years old.
Kids Design Their Own Rollercoaster

The Walt Disney Imagineering Lab allows kids to experience what it's like to be a Disney Imagineer with hands on activities and experiments.
But one of the coolest parts of this area is the Ride Studio where kids can design their own rollercoaster (like Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain or Matterhorn Bobsleds) then try it out for themselves. The Ride Studio even includes original props and concept art Imagineers used as they designed famous attractions like Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind.
Adults Are Jealous of this Star Wars Hangout
Star Wars: Cargo Bay is another area in the Oceaneer's Club that is incredibly immersive and focuses most strongly on the creatures of the Star Wars universe.
Creatures in this space include an animatronic porg, loth-cat, worrt, dianoga, and more! Kids can study these creatures and use augemented reality-enabled data pads.
Kids Train To Become Avengers
The Marvel Super Hero Academy is a place in the Oceaneer's Club where kids can train to be Avengers.
Kids pick a super hero suit and power sets based on Marvel heroes then bring the design to life in a virtual battle with a gesture-based technology game.
Fairytale Hall Brings Disney Princess Stories to Life
The Oceaneer's Club on the Disney Wish is huge because that's not all there is to enjoy! Fairytale Hall features three immersive areas themed to Tangled, Beauty & the Beast, and Frozen.
Kids can get creative and paint in Rapunzel's Art Studio, read and act out plays in Belle's Library, and play an interactive snowball game in Anna and Elsa's Frozen Cabin.
Mickey and Minnie Captain’s Deck for Younger Oceaneers
Since the age group for the Oceaneer's Club stretches from 3 to 10, there is also a dedicated space for the youngest of the group.
Kids can crawl, run, and play in the Mickey and Minnie Captain's Deck which offers plenty of space for them to spread out.
it's a small world Nursery
One of the cutest kids club spaces is the it's a small world Nursery which is meant for the youngest of the kids for infants to three years old.
The walls are filled with interactive elements like Peter Pan's clock tower and Rapunzel's swinging hair.
Tweens Club Has Its Own Private Elevator
It's not just the elementary school aged kids having a great time. There are also clubs for older kids.
The Edge is a tween club inspired by the “urban lofts” of New York City. The Edge is meant for kids aged 11 to 14. Just like the Oceaneer's Club, the Edge offers plenty of themed activities and kids will end up bonding so much with their fellow tweens.
And the Edge on the Disney Wish has its own special secret, the club has its own private elevator!
Youth Clubs Aren't Just for Young Kids
The Vibe on the Disney Wish is for teens aged 14 to 17 and is inspired by a Parisian artists' loft. But the best part of the Vibe is the floor to ceiling windows alongside that offers great views off the ship.
The location of the Vibe is located just near the Hero Zone where kids of all ages can play basketball and all other sorts of games and activities. The events at the Vibe go as late as midnight which is perfect for teens to stay up late and hang out.
Kids Of All Ages Love Disney Youth Clubs
My son's experience with the Vibe on three different Disney Cruise ships have all been positive and he's kept in touch with all the kids he's met on each cruise. It's a testament to how well these clubs are run that kids are so incredibly engaged to want to keep going back over and over. I can barely tear him away from the club on each trip!
This is also great for parents to get a chance to enjoy the adult only areas on the ships and not have to worry about your kids. In fact, good luck even getting your kids to hang out with you once they experience a Disney Cruise youth club for the first time!
I was invited by Disney to experience the Disney Wish but all my opinions are my own.
