Halloween on the High Seas is returning to the Disney Cruise line in 2025 during spooky season! This is a special Halloween celebration onboard Disney Cruise Line sailings.
In October, the Disney Cruise Line sailings (specifics below) will feature themed events like trick-or-treating in costume, Halloween treats, character appearances, parties, movies, and more.
Disney Cruise Line guests can enjoy a sailing filled with “magical mischief and spellbinding surroundings,” and spooky decor will be featured across the ships (including an enchanted pumpkin tree). Keep reading for all the details for Halloween on the High Seas!

Halloween on the High Seas 2025
Halloween on the High Seas is a themed Disney Cruise that takes place on select cruises in October.
Cruise options include departures from Fort Lauderdale in Florida, Port Canaveral in Florida, and San Juan in Puerto Rico, with a range of cruises that start with three days and go up to seven.
Port stops for the 2025 Halloween on the High Sea cruises include stops at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay, and the new Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point! Other Bahamian cruises include stops at Nassau, Bahamas, with one 4-Night Bahamian Cruise from Port Canaveral ending in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Southern Caribbean cruises departing from San Juan for Halloween on the High Seas include stops at Basseterre, St. Kitts, St. John's, Antigua, Kralendijk, Bonaire, Oranjestad, Aruba, Castries, St. Lucia, Bridgetown, Barbados, and Roseau, Dominica.
The Western Caribbean cruises for Halloween on the High Seas include stops at Cozumel, Mexico, George Town, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, Jamaica, and Disney Castaway Cay.
The Eastern Caribbean cruise for Halloween on the High Seas stops at Tortola, British Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Disney Castaway Cay.
Themed cruises are a great way to enhance an already great experience! Ships included for sailings on the Halloween on the High Seas include the Disney Magic, Disney Dream, the popular Disney Wish, and the new Disney Treasure.
New Halloween Costumes for Mickey, Minnie & Donald
Last year Disney revealed Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and Donald Duck's new costumes for Halloween on the High Seas.
Donald's spider costume has to be my favorite Halloween costume I've ever seen on a Disney character!
What You Can Expect from Halloween on the High Seas
The Halloween on the High Seas on the Disney Cruise Line features lots of fun, spooky activities and treats!
- Mickey’s Mouse-querade Party, where you can can celebrate the season in costume with your favorite Disney characters dressed in Halloween-inspired outfits
- Themed Character Meet and Greets, where you can meet Minnie Mouse, Daisy Duck, and Clarabelle Cow dressed as the Sanderson sisters from Hocus Pocus
- Halloween Activities, including spooky craft-making. In the past, these have also included interactive Halloween movies, games, ghost stories, trick-or-treating, costume contests, and more. Note: Halloween activities can vary by ship and itinerary.
- “Spine-Tingling” treats, including desserts, drinks, and more!
The cruises will feature elaborate Halloween-themed decor, including the magical pumpkin tree who grew the perfect pumpkin that became Cinderella's coach with the help of a wishing star. Each cruise line ship has a unique signature Pumpkin Tree!
