Attendees receive access to special parties and a discounted Walt Disney World hotel rate. The most recent iteration of the event included a semi-formal at Disney’s Contemporary Resort and an after-hours party inside Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The Disney Alumni Association shared an update with members about the next Homecoming Weekend on November 4, 2026:
“Many of you have asked about our next Disney Alumni Homecoming Weekend and if we’ll host one in 2027. Our plan is to host these events every 2-3 years, and initial discussions about the next one have started, but we’re still a year or two away from hosting the next celebration. As you know, it takes nearly a year to plan and execute such a large event for our amazing #DisneyAlumni, and we want to make sure the next one is the best one yet! Thanks for your patience, and we look forward to hosting everyone again real soon.”
Based on these remarks, the next Disney Alumni Homecoming Weekend is on track for late 2027 or 2028.
The most recent Homecoming Weekend was held in January 2025 and was announced eight months before that.
Homecoming Weekend, and the Alumni Association itself, is open to alumni of any year. For many, the event is a special occasion to reunite with their Disney College Program roommates or their fellow cast members from their work station.
