Can I Bring Food Into Disneyland?

Yes, you can bring outside into Disneyland and won't be a problem as long as they're not in glass containers. Many guests pack small coolers, snacks in their backpacks, etc. and bring them in the park everyday with no problems. The only exception to the glass container rule is for small items like baby food jars.

Disneyland has many different options for lockers to store your snacks and even a picnic area for guests to use.

Can I Bring Water Bottles Into Disneyland?

Yes, you are permitted to bring water bottles into Disneyland and there are plenty of places to refill your bottles around the park. This is something our family does to stay hydrated and cut down on costs at Disneyland.

Our guide to water bottle refill statins at Disneyland will show you everywhere you can find these different areas to fill up your water. The newer areas of the park will have more sophisticated water refill statins while older areas may just have a simple drinking fountain. You can also request cups of ice water from any quick service restaurant for free and fill up your bottle with those!

Disneyland Picnic Area

Disneyland offers a picnic area for guests to use if they want to pack their own lunch and bring it to the park! The picnic area (pictured above) is located to the left of the main entrance to Disneyland.

This area is also conveniently located next to a set of Disneyland lockers which also offer the largest size locker options in the park so if you have a large backpack with your snacks you can store it there. These lockers are accessible from Downtown Disney, meaning you don't need park admission to access them, and rangefrom $7 to $15 per day.

Can I Bring a Cooler Into Disneyland?

You have to make sure you follow Disney's rules regarding bag size limits. Suitcases, bags, coolers or backpacks, with or without wheels, larger than 24″ long x 15″ wide x 18″ high (61 cm x 38 cm x 46 cm) are not allowed in any theme park.

Keep in mind that you also cannot put loose or dry ice in any of those containers. Disney recommends the use of re-usable ice packs as a good alternative.

Bringing your own food into Disneyland is a great way to save money in the parks and is one of our favorite budget tips!
