10 Best Universal Studios Hollywood Snacks- Don’t Miss These Iconic Treats

Universal Studios Hollywood features many different viral snacks that most guests are eager to try like the giant Simpsons donut and Butterbeer.

I visit Universal Studios Hollywood frequently as an add on to a Disneyland trip which is a perfect way to build this experience into your Southern California vacation.

Half the fun of visiting Universal Studios Hollywood is making sure to check out all the snacks and they do a great job of offering themed options for Harry Potter, Simpsons, and Super Nintendo. Here's all my favorite snacks that I've enjoyed at Universal Studios Hollywood!

In addition to these best Universal Studios Hollywood snacks, you can see the best Universal Studios Hollywood food and restaurants here!

1. Butterbeer

The number one most iconic treat you cannot pass up at Universal Studios Hollywood is a Butterbeer from the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. You can get Butterbeer in the carts around the land and also in the Three Broomsticks.

It's also available frozen which is a favorite option for many guests! Butterbeer is something we never skip, no matter how many times we've been to Universal Studios Hollywood.

2. Simpsons Donut

Simpsons donut

The Simpsons large donuts are another not miss item when visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. Sometimes we just like to grab this to take back to the hotel with us which can make for a great breakfast for the rest of your trip. These donuts are large enough to share with a few people which makes it one of the most affordable snack options at only $9.99 each.

You can find these in multiple locations around the Simpsons area. Flavors I've seen lately have been the pink frosting with sprinkles and chocolate.

3. Chocolate Frogs

Chocolate Frog Universal

Chocolate Frogs are a popular candy item seen in the Harry Potter films and Universal made sure that these are available to buy in the theme parks. Each Chocolate Frog comes with a small chocolate shaped frog and a collectible Harry Potter card just like in the films.

This is a must grab treat for any Harry Potter fan and makes for a great souvenir as well,

4. Duff Beer

Adults will get a kick out of finding Duff Beer available in the Simpsons area at most of the themed restaurants. Duff Beer is the famous beer company featured in the Simpsons television show so it's a big highlight for many adults to come try a pint of Duff Beer while at Universal.

5. Harry Potter Themed Cupcakes

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter has a variety of treats in Honeydukes all themed to the Harry Potter universe including some well-known favorites from the films like Cauldron Cakes! These offerings change but there's consistently a selection of cupcakes, fudge, and other sweet treats. The theming of this land is top notch and we always make a stop at Honeydukes when we visit the Harry Potter area.

6. Voodoo Donuts

Voodoo Donuts in City Walk is another popular donut option and this place can get pretty busy in the mornings as guests stop in to get their morning breakfast. There is such a wild variety of donut flavors to enjoy at Voodoo Donuts and it's one of my favorite donut chains. We always make sure to stop here on City Walk either before or after a day at Universal Studios Hollywood. My favorite donut is always the Grape Glaze one!
