Bengal Barbecue is a counter-service location in Adventureland that offers a menu of various jungle skewers and sides. Its selection of offerings is small, yet the menu provides enough variety to appeal to any taste. You'll find it under a thatched roof across from the entrance of Indiana Jones Adventure (see the full Disneyland Park map for a land-by-land breakdown).

The stars of the show at Bengal Barbecue are the various skewers on the menu. You can enjoy various grilled meat skewers like the Bengal Beef Skewer which is coated in a sweet Zulu sauce or the Chieftain Chicken Skewer in a Polynesian sauce, try the Outback Vegetable Skewer, or opt for some more adventurous options like the Safari Skewer (bacon-wrapped asparagus). My personal go-to choices are the Bengal and Chieftain Chicken skewers—these are simple but delicious! We consider the skewers to be one of the best foods at Disneyland.

What I love about Bengal Barbecue is that you can either treat it as a location to grab an easy grab-and-go snack or a fuller meal. I've grabbed a single skewer via mobile several times when I'm in need of a quick pick-me-up, and the Hummus Trio on the menu with house-made seasonal hummus is another great plant-based option for a snack.

For those who are looking for a full meal, the Bengal Rice Plate is the perfect option that includes two skewers over jasmine rice with a side of Citrus-Miso Slaw. Or, if you'd prefer to enjoy your skewers with other sides, you can get them with a pickle, pineapple spear, or Tiger Tail breadstick. This is definitely one of the best options if you're trying to find healthier foods at Disneyland. While I love all of the classic park food, it can sometimes get hard on your stomach, so I always find myself craving Bengal Barbecue to mix things up. Bengal Barbecue will often have seasonal food and beverage offerings as well throughout the year that you can try.

Bengal Barbecue has an indoor seating area in the building behind it where you can take your food to eat. This area can fill up pretty easily, especially when the parks are more crowded, but there's a good chance you'll have some luck finding a spot if you wait around for a few minutes or have someone else in your party scout for a table while you are in the ordering line or waiting to pick up your mobile order.

If seating doesn't open up, you can also wander over to Tropical Hideaway which is located nearby and see if there are some open spots there. I personally prefer this outdoor area to the indoor area at Bengal Barbecue, as it allows you to soak up the ambiance of Adventureland more.

Tip: Utilize Mobile Ordering

As for all quick-service restaurants, we recommend utilizing mobile ordering for Bengal Barbecue if you can. Ordering lines can get quite long and you don't want to be stuck waiting when you're hungry. If you already know that you are feeling like Bengal Barbecue earlier in the day when you arrive at the parks, we recommend putting your order in then so that you secure your desired pickup window. Return times will be pushed increasingly further back sooner in the day if the parks are especially crowded, but when ordering a skewer as an easy snack, I've never had a significant issue with going to mobile order and getting a window that is too far ahead to consider.
