Disney World App Update
The new update for the Disney World app now consolidates features for planning your day into one place. This new section, “My Plans,” combines the previous “My Day” and “Future Plans” sections, organizing plans by date. This is a welcome change, as it removes the hassle of having two separate sections for planning details. There are a lot of planning details to juggle during a Disney World trip, and it’s important to have all of that info easily accessible.

This “My Plans” section includes key information for your day, like reservations, Lightning Lane Multi Pass info, etc. You can use the “Add Plans” feature to add plans like dining reservations, mobile orders, and Lightning Lanes. This “Add Plans” option also directs you to join Virtual Queues and view wait times and showtimes. It’s much more convenient to now have all of this information in one place, where you can look at all of your plans by date.
The “Tip Board” tab is now in a different section and renamed to “Wait Times & Showtimes” on the app. It was previously side-by-side tabs with the “My Day” section, but it is now listed in the main app menu.
Here is what the former “My Day”/”Tip Board” section looked like BEFORE the change:

Here is the new “My Plans” section AFTER the change.

While we are just seeing this change in the Disney World app right now, there is the potential for it to come to the Disneyland app as well, given that it is also set up in the “Tip Board/My Day” format. There is generally less to juggle planning-wise than there is for a Disney World trip, but it is still a change that could be made to consolidate everything.
