2. Frozen Audio-Animatronics Receiving Big Upgrade

The Audio-Animatronics of Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff in Frozen Ever After at EPCOT will soon receive new faces that use traditional technology for their facial features, not projections.
No official date has been announced yet for the change, but Disney says “early next year” is when this “true-to-film” look will happen for these characters. In the image above, you can see a side-by-side comparison of the current faces, using projections, and what they will look like after the update to match Hong Kong Disneyland’s more advanced version.
3. New Soarin’ Version in 2026

Another major change to EPCOT’s lineup of attractions is coming in 2026, a new version of Soarin’ Over the World, which will be called Soarin’ Across America.
This new film for the popular Soarin’ attraction is a part of an overall celebration of the 250th anniversary of the United States called “Disney Celebrates America.” This celebration starts on Veterans Day 2025 and will continue through July 4, 2026.
4. Test Track Has Been Reimagined
Test Track reopened to the public in June 2025 after a reimagining that includes a variety of different scenes that are inspired by the original World of Motion attraction.
The attraction highlights the joys of driving and the importance of soaking in the world around us. The queue has also been updated to include six exhibits focused on different vehicles and the people who created them.
5. Adults-Only Lounge Now Open
There is a new adults-only lounge inspired by Spaceship Earth that also opened in 2025. GEO-82 offers views of both the World Celebration gardens and World Showcase Lagoon and is limited to guests 18 and older.
This first theme park adult-only lounge features high-end cocktails and appetizers, and a luxury fireworks viewing experience is offered at a premium price.
6. EPCOT Completed Construction Phase
EPCOT’s transformation project has now been complete for over a year, since June 2024, and with it came a redesign of the previous Future World. This area is now split into three different World neighborhoods: World Celebration, World Discovery, and World Nature.
The original World Showcase was unchanged by this project, as the main focus was a facelift of the previous Future World area of EPCOT. This introduced new space for EPCOT festivals at CommuniCore Hall and CommuniCore Plaza.
