Downtown Disney store

Construction is moving along at the new Lululemon store in Downtown Disney. The Lululemon store will offer athletic clothing, footwear, and accessories. No opening date has been announced quite yet.

The new Lululemon Store is being built in part of the space that was previously the ESPN Zone building.

Downtown Disney construction

Construction is underway at the location of the former Tortilla Jo’s site, which will now be home to two brand new restaurants created by Michelin-starred Chef Joe Isidori. The two new restaurants coming soon are called Pearl’s Roadside BBQ and Arthur & Sons Steak and Bourbon.

Downtown Disney Lego Store

The Lego Store is also receiving new updates, as you can see from the construction walls surrounding the exterior of the store. The Lego Store is still open during the construction.

Downtown Disney merch

Now, let’s take a look inside the new merchandise at World of Disney!

First up is a new merchandise collection celebrating the Mickey Mouse Club.

I love the retro style of this new collection!

Disneyland Christmas

We also got a first look at the new 2025 Disneyland Christmas collection! You can see more in our separate article showing the details of the new holiday clothing.

Disneyland Theme Park Construction Updates

Disneyland popcorn bucket

Now let’s head to Disneyland! First up, check out this new Halloween popcorn bucket at Disneyland. Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas Jack Skellington Gravestone Bucket is one of the October Disneyland popcorn buckets. You can read our update on all the October Disneyland popcorn buckets in this separate article.

Speaking of Halloween, look at this stunning view of the themed pumpkins around the Partners Statue. It was a beautiful day to be at Disneyland!

The Disneyland 70th Anniversary Celebration decor is looking gorgeous, especially with the pink flowers surrounding the castle. The celebration will continue through summer 2026, so there’s plenty of time to see it yet. Read more about our ranking of all the best entertainment during the 70th Disneyland anniversary. Doesn’t this just make you want to get out here to Disneyland?

California Adventure

Over in Disney California Adventure, the construction in Avengers Campus is still moving along nicely. This construction is part of the expansion to bring two new attractions to the land, which will be a huge improvement to Avengers Campus.

Avengers Campus

The Avengers Campus expansion will introduce two new rides, “Avengers Infinity Defense” and “Stark Flight Lab.” These rides are being built towards the back of the land within a backstage area that also wraps around behind Cars Land. The construction has moved along quickly since we reported that the construction went vertical back in August.

Rex DCA

And finally, we met Partysaurus Rex at Pixar Pier! He will be out greeting guests for Halloween. A Cast Member shared in passing that this version of the character may be out all the way through the holidays, but we are only certain on him being this way at least through Halloween.

  1. Here’s what I want to see come to the Downtown Disney District.

(FOOD) IN-N-OUT Burger, The Old Spaghetti Factory, Skyline Chili, Portillo’s, Slater’s 50/50, The Melting Pot: The Original Fondue Restaurant, Guy Fieri’s Downtown Flavortown, Guy Fieri’s Chicken Guy, Gott’s Roadside, Curry Up Now, Fire Wings, Cereality, Exotic Snack Guys, Max Brenner Chocolate, Starbucks Reserve Roastery, Boudin Sourdough, Ghirardelli Chocolate, Hash House A GO GO, Primanti Bros, KOJA Kitchen, Mad Greens and Gideon’s Bakehouse.

(SHOPPING) Vans, Tom’s, Dooney & Bourke and COACH.

(ENTERTAINMENT) Cirque du Soleil, Aerophile Tethered Balloon & Aerobar, Fabbri Group 400ft Sky Walking, DEFY Trampoline and a 3,270.62 FT to 3,665.98 FT Zip-Line.

(RETURN) Haagen-Dazs, Rainforest Cafe and THE ESPN Zone.

Most of it can go in the small parking lot, that’s on the left side of the east end of the District and the Massive parking Lot, that’s on right side, of the east end of the District. After all, there’s that Disneyland Forward Idea in the works.
