Zootopia Animal Kingdom Attraction Previews For Annual Passholders, DVC, and Cast Members

There are previews for the new Animal Kingdom Zootopia show for Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club members, and Cast Members that were just announced. The opening date for Animal Kingdom‘s new Zootopia show is quickly approaching! In this new experience, which is replacing “It's Tough to Be a Bug” in the Tree of Life Theater, the citizens of Zotoopia are coming together to celebrate “Zoogether Day.”

Annual Pass Previews for New Zootopia Show

The new Zootopia show officially opens on November 7, 2025, but select groups will get the opportunity to see it early during previews in the days leading up to its opening.

Passholder previews will take place at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on November 5 and November 6, 2025. Here is the information that Disney shared on how to access the preview.

• First, make a theme park reservation for Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park to have an opportunity to join the 7:00 AM virtual queue for that day.
• Next, on the day of the preview, use the My Disney Experience app to request to join the virtual queue. There will be 2 opportunities to join each day of previews.
  • The 7:00 AM virtual queue will be available to Passholders with a theme park reservation to Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park for that day.
  • The 1:00 PM virtual queue will be available to any Passholder with valid admission. A theme park reservation is not required.
  • You do not need to have entered a theme park to join the virtual queue.

Each Passholder can request to join a virtual queue no more than once per day. Passholders must have a pass with valid admission on the preview date and may need a theme park reservation depending on the time of visit. If they have a reservation at another theme park, they need to enter the theme park where they have a reservation prior to visiting Animal Kingdom. Or, they can enter Animal Kingdom without a theme park reservation after 2:00 PM.

Disney Vacation Club and Cast Member Previews

Disney Vacation Club previews of Zootopia Better Zoogether will take place from November 1-3. Here are the details on the Disney Vacation Club Member previews.

You're invited to experience the all-new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show before it opens at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park.

Registration begins Oct. 23, for eligible Members who booked a qualifying Walt Disney World Resort hotel reservation prior to Oct. 19, 2025, using their eligible Membership on an event date – Nov. 1, 2 & 3, 2025. Keep an eye on your inbox for registration & event details.

Cast Member previews will take place during an overlapping period with the Disney Vacation Club Member previews.

The new Zootopia: Better Zoogether! show centers around Zoogether Day, a celebration featuring performances from the animals of the different biomes that make up the city. We'll see familiar characters like Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and Benjamin Clawhauser, whose new audio-animatronics figure was just revealed.

Disney shared that Clawhauser wants nothing more than to be picked as the V.I.Z. (Very Important Zootopian, who gets special access to the Zoogether Day performers), and when he doesn't, “he has to take matters into his own paws.” Also joining the lineup is the new “fast-talking, loud-howling wolf host” Heidi Howler, who is presenting the watch party.
