Disneyland historically releases their vacation packages around the same time each year. For reference, here’s the past four years release dates for Disneyland packages:

According to historical trends, the 2026 Disneyland packages will likely go on sale around the end of August. The last two years we saw Disneyland packages go on sale August 21 and 24 which means we can expect that same week in August this year.
Once Disneyland packages go on sale, there is typically a bit of a slow down in booking that day as everyone rushes to book their travel packages. Now that Costco is no longer offering Disneyland vacation packages, many guests are questioning where to book their Disneyland vacation packages which leads us to our next recommendation for booking your Disneyland package.
There is also a recommendation that you can actually book 2026 tickets and hotels now in certain instances.

Disney reservationists will not offer up specific discounts over the phone unless you ask directly even though they are very kind and offer wonderful service. This is why the best way to book a discount Disneyland package is through an authorized Disney travel agent.

Get Away Today is already selling discount Disneyland tickets for 2026, so you can start planning your 2026 trip. They are also able to book hotels near Disneyland, but not the official Disneyland Resort Hotels, into 2026 for you now.
However, they are not booking hotel packages with tickets on their website for 2026 yet. They are able to do this when you call them so that you can get a discount by combining tickets and hotels.

We added this caveat to this article when I heard from a reader who was getting anxious about not having the ability to book a 2026 trip yet. The Walt Disney World mindset is to get everything booked far in advance, so it feels quite foreign to not be able to book an early 2026 trip at this point.
