This weekend was the first media event for Universal Orlando’s brand new Epic Universe theme park. While team member previews have been going on for weeks, pictures and video footage were prohibited.
Now that the first media event has taken place, we have an abundance of footage from different content creators and theme park journalists to give us this first look at Epic Universe. I rounded up some of our favorite videos and posts from the Epic Universe media event!

One of the most exciting parts of the media event is we finally are seeing a close up of the Harry Potter and the Battle at the Ministry of Magic attraction which has not been running during team member previews. This look at the Floo Powder moment in the queue from Orlando Informer on Instagram is mouth dropping.

The queue for this ride looks as good as the ride itself. Maybe it’s a blessing in disguise it won’t have Express Pass right away so you can enjoy the full queue. Scott Gustin on X showed a close up look of the ride vehicle itself.

It’s so exciting to see this ride up and running, so far all the reviews have been glowing.
In Dark Universe, Orlando Informer on Instagram caught this great look at the The Burning Blade Tavern catching fire and a look inside this new restaurant.

This is going to look even cooler at night, here’s hoping Epic Universe has late night hours.
The character interactions in Dark Universe are so fun and make me think of the same type of sass the Disney villains show in the Disney theme parks. This video from JoJo Crichton on Instagram shows a fun look at these moments.
