This Hotel with Apartment Style Suites Near Disneyland Has Great Free Breakfast

One of our favorite hotels near Disneyland is Element by Westin Anaheim Resort Convention Center! This newer hotel features free daily breakfast and some of the most spacious rooms you can find in the area.

We’ve been repeat visitors of this hotel and are consistently happy with our stay. I’ve tried nearly every room type at Element by Westin Anaheim Resort Convention Center and on my most recent visit I tried a room that was the size (if not bigger!) than a small studio apartment.

Let me show you why I love this hotel and why I was blown away by the size of this room on our last stay at Element by Westin Anaheim Resort Convention Center.

Suites the Size of a Studio Apartment

Element Suite couches

During this most recent stay at the Element by Westin Anaheim Resort Convention Center, we were in a One Bedroom Suite which includes two queen beds, sofa bed, and full kitchen. On my last visit I stayed in the Kid’s Suite with One King bed which had bunk beds, kitchenette and a king bed.

We love these large rooms at the Element by Westin which is why I keep coming back. The One Bedroom Suite is considerably larger than the kid’s suite and offered so much space for our family.

Element beds with view

Our suite had a Disneyland facing view so we could see the theme park from the room and were able to lay in bed to watch the fireworks!

Element anaheim bathroom

The bathroom is accessible from the main bedroom and was plenty spacious enough. Bathrooms are typically where you can really see the age of a hotel and since this hotel is so new, you can really see how apparent that it with these clean, modern bathrooms. The water pressure was great and there was plenty of counter space for all our things.

The bedroom has a sliding door which separates it from the rest of the area. There was so much space in this suite! The kitchen area had a large counter to sit at which we would all eat at after a long day at the parks or to get ready in the morning.

The entire suite sleeps up to six guests and we had two adults and one teenager in our room during this stay. If you have teens, you know how much space they can take up when they travel so I think traveling with a teen is almost like traveling with two extra people instead of one! My teen loved this extra space in the suite to have his own space and lay out all his clothes for each park day.

This suite felt like coming back to a small studio apartment each night and we constantly were commenting on how much space we had. We never felt like we were tripping over each other and my teen felt like he had enough of his own space to still feel independent even when traveling with family. I would highly recommend this room type for families of all sizes!

Element by Westin Offers Best Free Breakfast

Breakfast Westin

Our favorite thing to constantly highlight about by we love the Element by Westin so much is the wonderful free daily breakfast! This is by far one of the most impressive complimentary breakfast buffets I have ever seen at a local Disneyland hotel.

The menu changes out daily varying with choices like a breakfast taco bar, waffles, pancakes, french toast, biscuits and gravy, and even crepes. You could also find standard favorites like bacon, potatoes, eggs, cereal, bagels, muffins, toast, and fruit. A big selection of breakfast beverages are provided like orange and apple juice, a sweeter red juice beverage plus coffee with even almond milk available.

We enjoyed this daily breakfast as a way to save time before we hit the parks to complete our Disneyland morning strategy. As always with most hotel breakfasts, the earlier you arrive, the less crowded it is but we never had an issue finding a table because this hotel is just so spacious with plenty of seating.

Walk to Disneyland Each Day

The walk to Disneyland from Element by Westin is about an 18-minute walk according to Google maps but it is likely close to 15 minutes. It is a bit more far than other hotels we love in the area like the Tropicana Inn & Suites Hotel which is across the street and the the Howard Johnson Anaheim which is a ten-minute walk.

Rather than walk, we opted to just use rideshare each day to get to and from Disneyland and this actually worked out great. There were always drivers nearby and each trip was less than $10. Don’t be afraid to consider doing this, even if it might feel silly to do it for a shorter distance. That distance feels much more far when you are walking after a long day at the parks!

I was hosted for part of my stay by the Element by Westin Anaheim Resort Convention Center but paid out of my own pocket for our remaining nights. I love this hotel and this is becoming one of my favorite hotels to recommend to families!
